![]() ![]() ![]() It depends on where you live. You need to go to the gyms that are in your area, or the distance you would be willing to commute to. See what type of demand there is for trainers, and whether or not the gym wants a cut of the commission, if they pay any hourly or salary, and if they decide what to charge for personal training hours. If you are in the right place and know your shit, then you can make a ton of money. You do have to watch out for what supps, diets, etc. that you recommend, because you will only be certified to give training info. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Go for it. I suggest that you train ordinary people. BB have way to much attitude, they think there always right, and most don't have any money. I know I'm one of them. You will get a much better response out of middle age clients who just want to get in shape. I'v been training/dieting people for the last 10 years. If you enjoy transforming people, then do it. It's an awsome job. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Yes, a trainer can make a good living...in time. Right from the start it might be hard, till you build up a clientelle, then you must continue to service them, and once in a while add new clients to your base. Working at a gym or personal training studio after being certified is prob. best course of action. Then once you have enough experience you can make a decision to stay or do something different. I train people 90% of the time in their home, yes mostly middle age. The home personal training business has allowed me the freedom to be my own boss, make enough money to cover the bills, and then some. You wont get rich, but I think between 20,000 to 40,000 a year is avrg. for personal trainers. ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() No. In general, NO you can't. The guys are right about working hard to build up a clientele, but even then you're never going to really stack up the cash. Yes, there are exceptions to the rule, but in my opinion, spend the time it would take building a clientele, taking some computer classes. Just a thought in the middle of the night. matt IP: Logged |
