Lately I have been reading a lot of posts of people who seem pretty negative about T-mag/Biotest. I know they push their products and all, but what do you expect them to do? I mean, the mag's free, so they've gotta make money somewhere right? They don't take outside advertisements or anything. Sure we've been screwed by pretty much everyone else, but I'm wondering what exactly is behind the negative feelings toward them.
Not flaming, just curious if I'm missing something...

The only product in my opinion that is worthwhile that Biotest makes is MD6---which was really their "improvement" of someone else's idea (Syntrax's Adipokinetix--which in my opinion, is just as good as Biotest's MD6 ). They have mega-hyped their other products as being the best and most effective out there. They finally admitted that they lied in their initial marketing of androsol and fessed up that they were just seeing how many people would be interested in buying it. I don't blame them for wanting to sample the water before producing a supplement, but why lie and say that it's because of other technical matters that they didn't just make it and sell it? I think a lot of people are mad (like I am) about Methoxy-7 being super-hyped as the "best mass building supplement on the market"---which did build up mass---the mass of gullible buyers' dollars in their pockets! Yeah, I was one of those gullible fools who bought into the hype only to realize that I paid my $100 bucks for a bunch of cholesterol. I had a moment of weakness in which I abandoned my principles that only core supplements like protein, glutamine and creatine are the only effective supplements for building mass...and I'm just as mad at myself as I am at Biotest. I just really hate how they have dogged other companies and dissatisfied customers. They actually have gotten better and are not trying to put down other products quite so readily, but I still have my grievances.

Biotest started out "hardcore" and, to a point, they still are. The problem for me is, they all split from Phillips and have so much negative shit to say about him, provoked or otherwise, but they are becoming EAS/Muscle Media 2000 right before the break. I know they say "You have to sell something to sell a magazine..." but they are pushing the shit way too far. They all seem like sincere guys, but all who were around know what that's like...remember Bill Phillips, he was truly one of us then turned his back and completely sold us out...for some of us, profit-margins and money aren't as important as respect and comraderie. That's what I think...and BTW, it sounds like they have effective products, but I don't and won't use them so I couldn't tell you for sure.
