I touched on this topic on an earlier email.. but this gets me..
No wonder AS are getting bad raps. People who know nothing about AS watch a movie like Fight Club and see that fat pig with DDD breasts (oh yeah, that's average gyno eh??) that use WIStrol and DIABAnal and think.. oh.. so THAT's what happens when you are on roids... GEEEEZZ... frikkin ignorance...

I thought the same thing. When I was sitting in the theatre and Bob was introduced, people were laughing all over about the bitch tits. I though "Jesus, way to perpetuate the stereotype of AS users!" The thing that pissed me off even more was that I read another Chuck Pahluniuk book, Survivor, and it's got all kinds of juice references in it and he seems to know his shit...so, I guess that they were just trying to have comic relief with Bob, but I think they could have done without him and shaved maybe 20 minutes off the whole movie.

Go rent the movie "the substitute" (part 3) and watch it. The "substitute" notices something's wrong with a few kids and acuses them of being on coke or steroids. I almost shit myself, coke and steroids being compared like they are the same thing. Then in the movie they made one kid die from juice. Talk about bad publicity for AS!
