I read a lot. To tell you the truth though, my Lovecraft has been mostly movies(Re-Animator, etc) I just read Devils Tear Drop by Jeffery Deaver(Bone Collector) and it is great. If you like Crichton read Timeline. I think Clive Barker has a little of Lovecraft's style and have read him. What do you recomend as the best Lovecraft? Any real page turners? IP: Logged |

All of them are good, but there is a collection of his works that has a lot of the good stuff. IP: Logged |

Tales of Horror and the Macabre is a good collection of works by Lovecraft. His stories have been split up into many different collections...for example...the bood "At the Mountains of Madness"..and my all time favorite story of his..."The Dunwich Horror". Im quite a fan of Stephen Donaldson's works..like the whole "Lord Fouls Bane" collection of works. As for Clive Barker..well I know his movies..but never really read his stuff. Just wanted to see how many of you meatheads could read..heh..heh.. Later, ------------------ IP: Logged |

WCP, you ought to check out The Damnation Game by Clive Barker. The main character is a tough dude. The story is killer, and one of my favorites of his. Dunwich Horror is cool. IP: Logged |
