Ummm...I really don't understand the question, its kind of ambiguous, but I'll try and answer some things... Popup windows under explorer are just Java Active scripts, so disabling active scripting will get rid of popup windows. Cached URL's in the address bar are stored in the registry, looking up info under regedit (find something that's pre-existing in the address cache) and then delete the "URL?" keys. Hope that helped... Pubert IP: Logged |

Well, I actually assumed that you were using IE...now that I think about it, that was probably a stupid assumption. I am not familiar with Netscape, but I'd assume the same properties exist. Under IE in the internet options there is a check box in either the advanced tab or the security tab. Usually double clicking on the zone panel in the status bar (ie Internet Zone) will activate the security options. Choose custom and in the check box list, click "Disable Active Scripting" That will get rid of all anoying pop up boxes...but beware, it will also disable some legitimate java functions...in which case, I just again double click the zone panel and re-enable scripting. Hope I helped... Pubert IP: Logged |

are you using ie 5 or ie 4? I think your refering to autocomplete. open ie. from the menu bar choose tools, internet options. click the content tab. clear the web addresses box in the autocomplete section. click ok. close ie, open it. that removes the sites visited from poping up when you start typing www. It's not Java if it's what I think it is. Anyway it's probably the "autocomplete" option in IE. Right click on IE icon for properties go under -->content tab and click on the autocomplete button. In this menu you will get the options of when and where you want to use auto-complete (if ever) and you can clean out your auto-complete history and/or passwords. This should be what your looking for. IP: Logged |

Conan I know what you want to do, here's how to clear it. 1) Go to Tools menu in IE IP: Logged |
