Just wondering who rides motorcycles because i wanted to buy one but my parents told me that im fucking crazy son of a bitch that im gonna get myself killed. I think that bikes are like juice they make you feel like you are the king when you are on them, its just that you have to be responsible so that you dont kill yourself. if you get one get the ZX-12 it is the fastest production bike made. My cousin got one of the first out of japan and this is a rocket and a half no joke. He paid 13k for it which is pretty high for a sportbike, but you dont have to worry about losing a race either. IP: Logged |

200 horses, jesus man are you planing on traveling back in time! The zx-12 has a quarter of 9.52 at 147mph with around 165 horses. You add 40 more to that and you are going to peal off the damn paint on the thing......lol IP: Logged |

Been a motocross racer all my life. And ridden crotch rockets on and off. I buy one and have a few close calls (you guys know those front wheel wheelies when your grabbing all the brake you can to save your life)sell it, forget how close I always came to death and buy another. Nariclas- It all depends on what size you are I personally wouldn't go with anything less than 1100cc because it weighs more and is more steady on the roads, but thats just my opinion. Benzo IP: Logged |

My brother has DR650 what a monster. I ride alot because he is scared of the thing. My buddie was giving me shit and said that it wasn't that fast. So we went out - he had a bmw K1 nice bike / blue and gold - Anyway we take off on the highway and i'm with him all the way to 110. I'm sitting up high eating all the shit on the dual sport. He's down low, giving me tehfinger, well he finally pulled away at 110. Funny thing was the BMW has a 140 regulator on it anyway. He was impressed. IP: Logged |

.. the last two years ive been into british bikes... last summer i restored a 67' triumph tiger that I bought in boxes.... looked and rode great but the damm thing was too small for me..... project for this summer... got a 70' hardtail 850cc triumph chopper... which i am slowly turning into a fatboy look... Triumph is one of the few companies that hasent jumped into the fatbike scene so I figured i would give them a start..... should be done and painted in about a month .. ill post pictures IP: Logged |

Thing with the DR650 is it a single lung street dirt bike. Going that fast on it not too smart. When I think back it was realy pretty stupid. His K1 would probably go faster but BMW regulated the bastard. Kinda of neat bike its water cooled and has a radiator. If i bought a bike now it would probably be a FAT BOY - Harley. Wife alawys after me to sell my guns and buy one. But no way work too long on the gun collection. IP: Logged |

My first love is motocross bikes, but since getting this dual sport, I see how much fun it is to cruise in the city. I never liked the crotch rockets cuz they're so damned small, but that new R1 is unbelievable!...sorry E2, but its got that new CBR929 beat hands down! Listen to this, there's some lucky SOB that rides a brand new Ducati 748 around campus here! Someone's Daddy is rich! Cleaner, what year is that DR650 you have? Mines a '95. And, I know what you mean about it being a lot to handle...fuckin' things so heavy! It took a while to get used to off road. I put mine through hell, and it handles it. Man, not a Harley rider in the bunch? I thought you guys were men! LOL I had a custom built shovelhead with wide glide front end, drag bars, 2 inch extra short pipes that shot out 2 foot flames, a suicide clutch AND an OPEN belt drive. That was a seriuos fuckin machine. At least nine different ways to die on that fucker!! hahahhahha Anyway, the stupid fuck I am let my bro drive it - drove it right into a parked car.
BTW, my next one will be a TITAN. Here's a story - I walked into the Titan HQ here in L.A. and was talkin to the owner. He said Arnold came in there and asked for a free one. The guy said no. Arnold replies "Vell ven I made Terminator they gave me free Fatboy". Guy goes "well that's Harley. This is Titan. Titan's entry level bike is $27,000" shiiiittttt..... sp IP: Logged |

Spoon, you're right Harley's are the shit. I will definitely graduate to that level, after having some fun with a crotch rocket for a few years. Besides, the crotch rockets are pretty much too small for me right now anyway, after I do a couple cycles, I'll look downright funny on one. That's when I trade it in for the Fatboy, and cruise around showin' off my guns, a big evil lookin' goatee, and some killer shades. Oh Yeah! Cool story about Arny. My DR650 was a 94, I can't stand how tall they are. I can hardle touch the ground when I sit on it. I have to lean from one side to the other. I dumped it pullin a wheelie. Guy's I have to say I love Harley's. Grew up on the back of my old man 59 pan head. I just can't take all the f-in uppies that are buying them. Freakin kills me. Die uppie scummmm. The truth be know i have gone to way to many funerals of people who have died on there bikes. When your on a bike you might as well paint a target on your back. To many blind bastard drivers. Hey Bros, I own an 98 cbr900rr that was sent to Erion racing( I had a little work done) trust me it is fast and quick...I eat R1's and spit out ZX-9's for fun...I recently smoked a guy on a modified R1 and the guy weight a hundred pounds lighter than me....But top end is a joke....lets go and chew up some tarmac on a good tight twisty road..... livinbig IP: Logged |

I had rather have VD on my health card than HD on my Gas thank. Honda produces a solid bike. A budy of mine has a 600r Hurricane 87 mod. It has 120,000 miles on it and still runs great. He had it milled, ported and polished, new carbs and a slip-on with disks. It was a rocket. 11.12 129 in a quarter. That was a rocket for a 600 back then. I have a 900rr 97 and an 85 250r three wheeler. IP: Logged |
