People use them for rehabbing from injuries, to massage the lower back and many ab exercises. I suppose you could do medicine ball throws with them, which is a plyometric upper body movement. | ||

The head of the Exercise Physiology department where I went to college was absolutely gung-ho about Swiss Balls. He thought they were the best thing since water. His balance on them was so good that he did everything, I mean EVERYTHING off them. He did military presses, bench presses, push ups, etc. off a Swiss Ball. I'm sure he would be more than willing to help out. Dr. Broeder at East Tennessee State University. Look him up...no shit, I'm being serious. Also, he knows as much about gear as anyone I've ever talked to. ------------------ | ||
