Damn man, I like you more every day! I just read the quote you put on ajc's thread, the one from 'Point Break.' I personally think that is still--along with 'Matrix'--one of Keanu's best...and Gary Busey (sp.?) adds a great touch of cynicism!!

I actually watched that movie last night on Cinemax...

"It's that moment where you lose yourself, and find yourself..."

"Well Bunker, I'm glad we met..." "SMACK!!"

"It's us against the system, against all those dead souls, creepin' on the road in their metal coffins...we show them that the HUMAN SPIRIT is still alive!!"

Damn, I could go on forever!!

"Basic psychology...show fear you draw aggression...project strength to avoid conflict".(something like that)

Anyway thanks man...first time I've been called out like that. And yes everything should have a touch of cynicism in it...Busey rocks.

"The ability to let that which does not matter truly slide". Now the question is did you appreciate Fight Club...if so welcome to the team man!!!

Bro', I've got a nice burn on my left hand from a stogie that proves how much I dug 'Fight Club.' I have since attempted to start one with a buddy who actually punked out, too.

"You have to know, not think, but know that some day you are going to die."

"How much can you know about yourself if you've never been in a fight?"

"I am Jack's spleen..."

"I am Badkins21's utter obsession with all of these bad-ass, testosterone-boosting movies," LOL!!

This is Hannibal's alter ego. Whenever Hannibal sleeps I run off to cause havoc.

"The lower you fall, the higher you'll fly"

"Now the amazing miracle of death, when second you're walking and talking and the next second, you're an object. I am nothing, and not even that.
Cold
Invisible".

I think you and I are going to get along just fine. As for starting a Fight Club I wish I could agree. I could never do that. I would be afraid of what I'd do. I have no fear of getting hurt, but I cannot "play fight". When I was a kid I couldn't even wrestle around because I would go into life or death mode. Not proclaiming that I'm a bad ass, far from it, but put in a Fight Club situation I would "want to destroy something beautiful". I live in constant fear of my temper, but the funny thing is I have NEVER seen it. I just know that put in any type of fight situation I would SNAP and someone would have to kill me to stop me....hence I try to project strength to avoid conflict...words to live by. I try to keep Tyler hidden far away, but I know he's there.

Time to hit the gym...later Bro!

Ivan Drago truly was a bad-ass in IV...but Clubber Lang is my all-time favorite Rocky opponent (III)...and when Apollo asks Pauly if Rocky can swim..."With a name like ROCK?" LOL, a true classic...

And the 'Rocky' soundtracks...HELL YES!!

EYE OF THE TIGER...STANDING UP TO THE CHALLENGE OF OUR RIVALS...

THERE'S NO EASY WAY OUT, NO SHORT CUT HOME...

IN THE BURNING HEART, JUST ABOUT TO BURST...

**Now, if we eventually get to Awnold (said in my best "Oak" accent!), we're going to have to start another thread...he deserves his own!!

"He's like a piece of iron"

I think the funniest part of the movie was when they got off the plane in Russia. Paulie stepped out of the door, looked around and said"...this is Russia...it don't look so tough Rock" Funny shit.

Clubber Lang was a bad man, and Tommy Gunn in V ...dude, super-weak. Of course that part at the end where Rocky gets knocked down (yet again) then he has his dream sequences..."get up you son of a bitch cause Mickey loves you". That gives me goose bumps just thinking about it.

What about in V..."Hey Rocky you need some help...no guys this aint no pie eatin' contest" Good stuff.

I thought I was the only one who got goose bumps watchin' those movies...

I am glad I'm not alone, LOL!

Damn, we could have a hell of a movie fest!!

And what about fighting movies...'Bloodsport,' 'Best of the Best,' 'Lionheart,' etc., etc. When I was a kid, damn I could watch those things over and over (well, I really can still!!)...

The Best of the Best...can't remember which one. The one where the Koreans give their medals to the Americans at the end. That was awesome man!!

Lets see how deep this rabbit hole goes...Wyatt Earp of Tombstone...there is a WRONG answer!!!

BWAHAHAHAHA, I TAKE IT YOU READ THE "NAKED" THREAD, HEHE...

I'm actually in a towel at the moment thank you!

I am actually not as big a fan or westerns as I should be (native Texan!), but 'Wyatt Earp' was a great one...

Clint Eastwood (well, and the DUKE!) are my favorite western-type guys, though...

What about...(a random thought!)...'Gleaming the Cube,' or 'Rad??' I used to skate/BMX race, so those used to get my heart pumpin', too...

Survey says XXX...oh well it's ok to be wrong but Tombstone was MUCH better.

"You tell them that I'm coming, and hell's comin' with...hell's comin' with me".

Love that movie. Oh yeah, Clint and The Duke are awesome.

Random thought...hell yeah. Gleaming the Clube and lets not forget Thrashin'...I used to skate in a previous life. Good stuff man.
