how is it that 2pac has all this material? if he had some music archived doesnt that mean that he didnt like it and hence didnt use it on his albums when he was alive? why are they hits now? lyrics and popular rap have a dated quality meaning they sound like the time when they are written. is this not the case with 2pac? its just amazing that there can be such a wealth of music AFTER the man is purported to be killed. | ||

2Pac, later on in his career, for the most part didn't sing about current times, and money and girls- he sang about general issues of life. That's what was so great about him. I don't know what it's like to kill someone, make millions, do nothing all day but smoke pot or sell crack. I do know what it's like to live. That's why I like 2Pac. | ||

talented? YES. greatest rapper to ever live? naaaah. 2pac only became huge after he died. while he was still living his music didn't get that much airplay nor did i ever find it that inspiring and it didn't make my head bob. same thing with notorious big, now that they have died, their record labels still keep pumping out more of these "unreleased" songs from them so they can pull in more bank. the man died in a glorious fashion and that's why he's so popular now. i would miss ice cube and ll cool j if they passed. also vanilla ice and Snow, i would pour my mickey's out on tha ground and hope to see em at tha crossroads. | ||

Master P and Puff Daddy? Are you kidding me? 2Pac was in jail because a women claimed he raped her in the middle of a club. It's another case of "He's famous, sue his ass." She gave him head in the middle of a club. It's just another example of how our world is completely fucked up and anyone can sue anyone and win. Puff Dady for example- you get shot in the face while Puffy is in a club. Someone in his entourage is the shooter. Now do you claim some limo driver did it or do you claim the guy with $100M did it? I'm not backing Puffy by any means but nowadays fame = people trying to take you down at any opportunity. ------------------ | ||

I'm still amazed that you guys are saying 2Pac & BIG were nothing until after they died. They had the whole east & west coasts fueding over who was better. They had people from 2 coasts fighting and killing over which was stronger. Sorry guys, but everyone, including our parents and grandparents knew who 2Pac was well before he was killed. |
