From what I have seen, I think I have figured out what exactly attracts the opposite sexes to each other. I have realised that especially teens are very much influenced by the media (music, tv, etc.) on what they find attractive in the opposite gender. I list these in order of importance. What girls find attractive in a guy: 1. Personality (especially humor, and the way you treat the girl) Let's make some scenarios out of that. If a guy has a handsome face and a perfect 10 physique, but dresses like a hobo and has a job at something like a gas station, it's not likely many girls would be attracted. Now for the guys, what guys find attractive in a girl: 1. Body (Curves, slender physique, nice sized breasts, etc.) This basically means that if a girl has an average face, and a great body, she will attract guys. If she has a great face, a great personality, but an average body, she would still attract guys, although not as many. Genetically the human race has been programmed to seek certain qualities in the opposite sex. For men, it is mostly to find a woman that can satisfy him sexually. Of course that's not the only reason, but it is the core one. For women, it's a need to find a man who will make them feel secure and loved. That's one of the big reasons why women seem to want guys with thick wallets, because money is a very important part of being secure. As far as physiques go, a man wants a woman with a physique that will satisfy him. A woman wants a physique that will make her feel safe and secure. Of course, this is all generalizing quite a bit, on the whole and whole, I think it's logical and sensical. ------------------     | ||

I think that your rankings are fairly accurate. But if you are a guy I would have to add "hair". If you are a fair or blonde guy, you have to be very good looking to be considered handsome. Much more than a dark haired dude. | ||

wow.. i have never heard anyone else scale that so accurately. Except for younger girls Face is first, Outfit is second, money is third, and body is fourth. the personality makes little or no diference wit young females. the wish onlyto be rcognized or popular. they want to court a little or a lot before they get of the age to care about personality. Good job with the older women. except sexual peformance is 4th or 5th. ------------------ -If at first you don't succeed, destroy any evidence of trying.- | ||

That seems pretty damn accurate to me. My guess is that a financial situation in a girl doesn't mean much to a guy when it comes to wanting to go out w/ her if she at least works or something because men like to be the the "bread makers" in a relationship. ------------------ | ||

On the genetic priorities, I'd say it's a little deeper than that. Men go for the attraction first because those qualities indicate a healthy female that has good qualities to bear and care for his children. Women look to other things beyond the healthy male and at the good provider. With DNA, it's all about replication and reproduction. ------------------ | ||

I don't think women want to be treated like garbage, but they want a "bad boy" type guy. The reason I theorize is because a "bad boy" will be more capable of protecting his mate, as opposed to a "nicy-nice" type guy. It just so happens that these "bad boys" treat their women like total utter shit, and they don't care at all. Personally, I think it depends more on the girl's upbringing whether she will prefer a bad boy, or be happy with a nicer type guy. ------------------ | ||

The major difference between me and a "bad boy" is that this "nice guy" knows when hes got to be bad. Pretty much what Future One said, a nice guy w/ some good bad guy qualities. ------------------ | ||
