Outcast most definatly. Used to get the crap beat out of me on a weekly basis. I then discovered weights and Tae Kwon Do and began to push back a little harder

I have been the man my whole life. Thats all I have ever been known for.Best looking guy in school, the QB of the football team, money, I never knew what people really liked me for. Poor me huh lol. Boy things sure change after college dont they. This is my first year of my life out in the real world. My looks open a lot of doors, but it would be nice to go back to the good old days and enjoy life a little more

I can honestly say I was one of the most popular guys in highschool....Gil, I feel your pain, it's always been that way for me too. Like u have to plan everything out and shit for your friends. I used to have a party at my house like every weekend. MFs would always want to come to my crib and chill. Walk thru the hallways and people are all "what's up Buck" and I wouldn't even know who they were.

Well, before my parents moved out of the district and got me kicked out of my original highschool, I was pretty much one of the most popular guys in highschool. What a nightmare transferring highschools was. Ok ok, I admit it, I played soccer, and when I transferred schools I took one of the more popular guys at the new schools starting spot. In return, he got every guy in that school to hate me. No biggie, it was my senior year, I knew I would be outta there in a few months. BUT, after a few weeks of his bullshit (spit on my locker, shoulder blocks in the hallways from every other guy, etc..) I saw his girl walking to school through my neighborhood (SHE LIVED JUST BLOCKS FROM MY HOUSE IN MY SUBDIVISION!!). I knew this was my opportunity to get back at this fucker, so I stopped, asked her if she wanted a ride. She obliged, and soon after that, I was making nightly stops at her house, talking to her on the phone, and ended up fucking around with her one night when I got her to come out with me and my buddies from my old highschool. Well, she ended up confessing this to him, and after that, he got ugly. He would get in my face daily, keyed my car, and would hack the shit out of me in practice. It made things kind of tough. BTW, I was only 155 lbs when I graduated highschool, so I was in no position to try and take on him and his 50,000 friends. To wrap this up, after never missing as much as one day unexcused from highschool, I went to coming to school about once a week just to hand in my homework, get my suspension papers from the principal, and go home. It sucked, and was seriously depressing to go from popular to a piece of shit.

23 gauge-I transfered schools before my junior year in high school....I feel your pain. I was good looking and took 2 of the starters spots (I started both ways at linebacker and fullback) All their girls were jocking me too. I was getting clipped in practice and all kinds of shit. But after 2 a days were over and I started school everything was cool. After my first football game, I was pretty much one of the most popular guys in school. Everybody giving me props and shit. So it was good from then on.

I kept to myself in high school. I was pretty much known as a basketball player but not a real social guy.

After that I went to a division 1 university to play basketball. There I was revered. Any of you who have done this would know. If you have not, then you don't.

After that I was in the military. It's not a popularity contest, especially for officers.

Now I have a high paying job and people seem to want to hang around. (I'm 25 and single. I guess I'm at that age..)

Most of the time, I'd rather just be left alone, like I was in high school.

I never made enemies...I'd annoy the shit out of people in my classes, just because I was so opinionated and would never back down (for those that have been here on this board for more than 10 minutes understand this, LOL!)...but I never really had anyone "hate" me, so I was fine...The Woodlands is very 'clique-y' so I was glad to have one...I would feel horrible for anyone starting school here after the 7th grade here (start of junior high)...

All in all, I was pretty popular...played football, made good grades, had a great, beautiful girlfriend...

**23 GAUGE...although we had some words on another thread, I'm sorry about what happened to you...nobody should have to deal with that bullshit...all that it is, is insecurity on those losers' parts...

Well, yes, I do kind of, it's nice.

I'm not really popular per se, more like respected I guess, everyone is 'cool to/with me.'

The people at my school just don't concern me too much.

Did you ever read my apology about calling you gay in that one thread? May1010 defended you and said he'd like to suck your dick too.

no offense bro but if you would have did that to me (the girl thing) i would have done more than he did to you. on the other hand i wouldnt have acted like a dick if i would have lost my position either.

i was very popular b/c of sports and i had the capt. of the cheerleading squad. but for some reason i was friends with everyone when i wasnt with my girl. she was top priority to me.

Slo,

In my opinion, $100K would be high paying in your 20s. Not including bonuses.

For someone 30 or above, I would say $250K.

Bakins, thanks for putting our differences aside to take a minute and understand the shit I went through. Very mature and respectful on your part, thanks.

n-v-r, hey when a girl opens herself to you, there is nothing to do but take advantage. It was just convenient that she was that fuckwads boyfriend.

I still would like to go back to highschool and do it all over. Even though I got booted my senior year, I still hung out with everyone from my other school, so it was still fun. My only regret from highschool was having a g/f all four years. What a fucking waste! The only good thing about having a girlfriend in highschool, was post-highschool I was unchartered territory, and I all the women I went to school with became interested. Oh well, I am in a whole new state now. Time for a fresh start. And FYI- ASU women......hell AZ women for that matter, are some of THE finest women around!! Hardly any fatties. I love it here, but damn these summers are hot.

Take care fellas, bed time.......

OK guys....time to get real with ya!!

High School wasnt anything what I would have wanted it to be. I was skinny as hell, only weighed 135lbs at graduation. I wasnt really a jock...only ran track, I was sort of the middle ground, which sucked. But, I had girls, and was sort of popular. I guess I got by on my looks alone. I was always known to be one of the cute ones....up for Homecoming King and shit like that. But I always longed to be one of the "big" dudes who played Football or something.

Well, went off to college where I conquered the world!!! Started putting on some size...joined a fraternity, which was the most popular, and jockish one on campus. Had ladies out the walzoo!!!! This was my time to shine. I guess it goes to show, that everybody has their time...whether it is when the are younger, or older.

I am 35 years old now, married to a beautiful woman, and have a gorgeous daughter...but I still look and feel like I am in my twenties. I now have the body that I always wanted...I have hit 200lbs at one point, at 5'8", not bad for natural. Now I have the body that I wish I had in High School....Go Figure!

anyway...good story 23g.

take care,
G

I have tonnes of mates and girl friends and generally just clown around, but I like my space, if you hang around close with the same people for too long, you get stuck in a rut.

Its good to keep a distance, that way you can concentrate and achieve your own goals.

Well I think so anyway.

At school, hmmm...well my school was basically a Gladiatorial Combat School, fights fights fights...not my choice, just the way it was, I didnt learn a damn thing there.

But if youve had it too easy, you havent lived; "in the hunter gatherer sense of the word"

Pretty much been a silent lonner nomad my whole life. Moved around a lot and never got to know anyone. I am for the most part silent at all times...never talk. I come off as arrogant and stuck up to some. I have always had that quiet confidence. Not much of a social individual. Prefered to do it myself and think for myself instead of follow the crowd. People liked me and everyone knew me but I simply never got involved. Not my style I suppose. Hated and still hate parties or social situations. I always kept to myself and didn't make any enemies. Never went out of my way to converse with anyone and I still don't. Seems to me that people really want to get to know me but I just never really let them. Always prefered to do things my way. Everyone in school knew me and I could talk to anyone but only a select few were my true friends who actually knew the Beezers.
