Wow bros, I don't know how many people use programs that maximize free memory, but I just downloaded one on Thursday, and this program is awesome. I found it on a hacker site, but here is the link to the site that made the program: www.analogx.com/contents/download/system/maxmem.htm It's called maxmem I never used a program like this because half the freeware programs suck cock anyway. But this thing is amazing, one left click on their icon in the systray, and your lag is gone. Try it....... Anyone else have any good freeware programs?

jesus christ, just buy more ram. I can get half a gig of ram for $160. I currently have a gig of ram in my machine. software fakery of ram (disk caching and such) is worthless and slow. it came about back when ram was very expensive, but now it is a joke how cheap it is. right now you might be saving a tiny tiny percentage of your ram, but you are slowing your system down by increasing your disk access and processor usage. suck it up and buy ram. ------------------ | ||

lol, You use the lords name in vain over RAM? Shame on you kiddo..... Me personally - well I use a 1 year old Compaq notepad with 64 megs. Huge huh? I have other ways to spend $160. If I spent a lot of time on the net, I would probably spend my life savings on a big machine like you have with the big T3 connections, 60 gig hd, the whopping 1 gig+ RAM, the 1 gig+ MHZ, blah blah blah. But no thanks, I am just fine running on 64 megs with this cool little program to free up space. :O I will continue to just be able to view one window of porn. Analog X puts out some good stuff. They have a pretty decent web server too. Nice and small, unlike most of the bloated commercial products. | ||
