I was a dumbass 4 or 5 years ago and got my woman's name tattoed on my ankle next to a pic of a scorpion.....We of course split up a few years later. Luckily, I new a good tattoo artist who was able to cover up the name with a new design and it now looks better than ever. The moral of the story...not a good idea, but if you're going to do it don't plaster it in block letters across your fucking chest or anything blatantly obvious. On the revenge side of the coin, my ex was fortunate enough to have MY name tattooed on her shoulder, and still has it there to this day. hehehe RICO | ||

Go for it. Make sure you get it in Old English right across your back or stomach. Seriously though, I think it's a bad idea. I think i'd only get someone's name on me who has passed away. That way they won't piss you off later down the road and make you regret it. | ||

Great idea all women should be branded! Just kidding... I think all tattos look like shit. A friend of mine had her boyfriends name on her ankle after they broke up she had 3 lazer sessions to get it removed. The scar was so bad she had to get another tatto. | ||

I have two tats and I would NEVER NEVER NEVER get a man's name. diva, when I was your age I was engaged, was with the guy for 3 1/2 years and I finally left when I was 20. Since then Ive had 3 more serious relationships.....tattoos are personal expression, not branding. God, I envy you in a way. At 18 i was so EARNEST about everything.....damn...I'm feeling old and jaded now. | ||

Bad, bad idea. Your own man said it best. Besides, even if you two do get married, there is something degrading about permenantly etching someone elses name on your body. Think about it this way... what else does your man have his name on? His underwear perhaps? You have now been relegated to the status of testicular support expert.
