I have quite a few moles as I guess there called. They are all flat and brown some of them are darkbrown almost black. None of them stick out or have hair or anything they kind of look like giant dark freckles. Well I'm sick of them. I looked up how they are removed and they are typically cut off by scraping off the skin where they are. Well I'm not sure how much it costs to have a dermatolist do it does anyone have any ideas? I have quite a few and would like to get rid as many as possible. Actually just a few minutes ago I cut one off my self. I cou;dn't cut the skin with a razor (must have been dull) so I used a pin at first and finally found myself using a pair of small fingernail scissors. Trying to make sure I didn't cut too far down was hard. It was also hard to get the last remaining bits of it, because blood was covering everything up. It wasn't actually that painful but I know there no way I can do them all by my self and was wondering if anyone knows how much on average a dermatolist will run me? Right now I'm waiting for it to heal, before I attempt to do another (I did my 1st one in a spot that wouldn't be too noticable if I fucked up and scarred myself) So please could anyone guess how much it will run me (tell me how much it cost you if you've had something similar done [luckily none are on my face]). Please help before I hurt myself. Thnx

Ok I have a friend and it was free for him. The dermatologist took a scalpel strecthed the skin with one hand and sliced it off with the scalpel, he then immediately poured some powdered something (?) on it and it smelt like shit or so he told me. 2 weeks later the scar was gone and he is has no mole.

Hope this helped

dude---just go to the derm. and tell him whats up. he will give you a little shot next to it and scrape it off. make sure its a good dr. cuz if he does it wrong you will have a bullethole like scar.

and dont remove it yourself fool!!! are you crazy??? you can cause some crazy shit with that dirty ass stuff you used!!! i had to remove a wart from the bottom of my foot that was inside my skin, not on the outside. i had medical eqpt and all of it was sterilized. i used a scalpal to cut it out. then i stitched it with two stitches. that was the painful part. my dr. found out about this and wanted to kill me.

That's it--knowing how deep to go......that's where a good dermatologist comes in.
They shave until the uneven pigment is gone and no more.
Sometimes they use electrocuatery. It's like a tweezeers with sparks arcing across it.
They just make lite passes over it, sort of feathering or matching it to the surounding skin.

Now they tell you to keep it wet with
polysporin, for a week or so, so you don't scar as bad.

i had a suspected melanoma cut of my thigh, as it was just under my shorts mark it is pretty white there so the scar is only just starting to be not noticed, 4 years later.

it depends on how deep the moles are. I had one removed from my face that i didn't like and he had to cut under it into the skin then stitch it up, now i have a little scar in place of where it was. if it's not hanging off the skin they're gonna have to cut into your skin and you'll get a scar, so you gotta decide if you'd rather have the mole or a scar...
