My favorite spots are Ceasar's Palace and the Mirage. Sure there are new hotels like Paris and the Venetian, but the aforementioned are the class of the strip.

If you're into the nightclub scene, check out Ra in the Luxor. It wasn't my style, but if you like loud music you can't talk over, and tons of women running around, check it out.

Blackjack and Let it Ride are my games.

Mandalay Bay has kickin club, the RIO has a good one too. Easy to pull ass out of those two.

Rio sucks but you might see some lesbos making out on the dance floor. Studio 54 is good and c2k is aaaright. The beach has ho's and is right by the convention center not far from the strip. Where are you staying can reccomend some [places by your hotel.

Flimingo Hilton. We'll be there 3 1/2 days and I'm taking $400-500. Not enough to gamble for that long.

These are very good friend and we haven't visited in person for 6 years.

Stayed at Treasure Island before, and the newly remodeled Mandalay Bay recently. Both were very nice, but I prefer the location of Treasure Island. Went to Studio 54, and the club inside the Rio. I liked both, and as someone else mentioned, the babes at the Rio are there for the same reason as you...to get laid! It was almost too easy. Anyway, check out some shows while you're there. I went and saw Mystere by Cirque de Solei ($75!!), and check out "Into the Night" at the Stardust (25 bux and still good). Don't try to visit everything in a few days, there is just too much to see. Nicest casinos IMO were the Mirage, Ceasars Palace, and of course the Bellagio (sp?). Anyway, the crappiest ones I visited were Harrahs and the Luxor. The Luxor was such a dump and belongs at the end of the strip where it is. It looks cool at night though. Oh, rent a car too. And if you need to get "lucky", drive out to the city of Pahrump (45 minute ride). The Chicken Ranch, Sherri's Ranch and Madam Butterfly are all legal bordellos. I can write about Vegas all day and never tell enough, you'll love it.

Since I go there once a month, I figured I would throw in my two cents....

Even though we have no clue what you like to do, I will just tell you some of the hot spots right now.

-Baby's inside the Hard Rock is awesome if you like dance music.

-The Ra in the Luxor is also good. Always packed with women (techno)

-Studio 54 in MGM has it's nights.

-Utopia, right on LV blvd is also a great club.

-House of Blues in Mandalay Bay is more a normal, non-techno crowd. ~~Pretty much where the cheap geeks hangout. j/k

-Afterhours clubs are plentiful. The Beach is ok, but not my scene. It is probably the most segregated bar you will ever see. Kinda funny. Myself, well I prefer the titty bars ) I forgot the name of the afterhours club that got shut down (Emerald something maybe??), that place was awesome. I am sure if someone on this board is from the area they will know what I am talking about. Who cares though, it's shut down.

Other than clubs, you have to see at least one show. I would also recommend "O" by Cirque Du Soleil in the Bellagio. It's amazing even to a person that isn't easily amused. Find a scalper, they have tickets usually for around $30-$70 depending where you want to sit. Still cheaper than buying them direct.

DON'T GAMBLE!! I gamble at home here in AZ once a week, but after the first nightmare trip to Vegas where I was having my mom wire me money to get home because I lost it all playing dumbass roulette!! Seriously bro, Vegas can be cheap if you do it right.
