I am looking into a nice reliable 22 that is quiet and will not foul up. Also one that fits a silencer would be a plus (even though I would never get one because they are illegal).     | ||

I bought a Browning Buck Mark about 10 years ago and I have never shot a more stable handgun. Very rugged and balanced. (not that I am done this or suggest it, just a rumor I have heard.) | ||

Browning Buckmark (I have one it is awesome) Ruger MKII, bull barrel (sweet gun) Every .22 pistol is loud as fuck unless you get a revolver and it shoots "shorts" ------------------ | ||

Ruger 22s are the shit. MP5 is right they are loud unless you use shorts. and that aint happening with a semi auto. | ||

If reliability is your main concern then I would seriously consider a revovler. Less moving parts, less chance of a jam. Smaller capacity for ammo, but more reliable. Weren't you against guns anyway? [This message has been edited by Latimer (edited March 09, 2001).] | ||

While the .22 is certainly capable of killing, I would much rather get shot with a .22 than a 9mm, 40sw, or anything big for that matter. I guarantee a 9mm is going to blow a bigger hole in you than a .22, way more power, jacketed bullets and a bigger bullet diameter. ------------------ | ||
