i say we have a thread,...posted by sunday of NEXT week... we post our "now" or "before" pics... and then in 6 weeks we post an "after" set of pics... and just see who makes improvements or not... that way the flames can wait 6 weeks... and hell, maybe we can up it to 10 weeks overall but have the 6 week mark be our progress marker... and people can see how we have changed and make comments... we can do the ole newspaper date to check dates or we can use the good ole fashion elitefitness trust system... what ya think? i also think george will supply the winner with 10 years free gear!!!!     | ||

I'm game...I should be gaining about 30 pounds in the next 10 weeks, then cutting all the fat off and hardening up for my first NPC show in July...I'm 5'7", 190-ish, and 10-11% bodyfat right now...I want to hit 200+ and under 10% by the end of this semester...mid-May! My cow, "Moodkins21" has about 2 more weeks of Ref-B, 5 more of Ara-test, then 8 of Fina, Winny, Clen, and T3...OOHH YEAH!! ------------------ | ||

If anyone can make visible progress in any given 6 weeks, we'd all look like Ronnie Coleman by now. For those who have been bodybuilding a while, you're usually not going to see much differnce in a given 6-week period, but that doesn't mean there's no progress. Slowly but surely... | ||

LOL..... Until i was 10 we lived in a predominantly Jewish neighbourhood..like..VERY predominantly...as in, we were the only goys on the block. Our nearest neighbours were my brother and my closest friends. the mom was a Russian Jew escaped from Stalin (very nervous, bird like lady..damn good cook though) and the husband (who treated us like we didnt exist) was from Israel...the older we got, the less the father would let us play together.(My folks didn't care...we were learning about a new culture) One day, shortly before we moved, it was around Hanukkah, and me and the little girl were playing with her dredel (sp) and I asked her what the symbols on it meant. (Being of the curious sort I am). She snatched it away, put it in her pocket, looked at me coldly and said Now I know it was because her father hated us and always said mean things about us and she was just picking up on it, but man, did it hurt. | ||

That story makes me so angry! I'm not religious at all anymore, and when I hear things like that it just confirms my belief that people can be very devout and still lack all moral character. The ironic thing is that she was totally off-base. There is actually a commandment on Hanukkah to "advertise the miracle". That is why Jews are supposed to display the menorah in their windows so that passers-by can see it. It was supposed to be something celebratory that we should share with the world.
