I just know it ruins, completely ruins your credit for a good ten years until it passes, and there is NOTHING that can correct it ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

harmonic....it is not as bad as some believe. It doesn't "ruin your credit for ten years". It does damage your credit rating but you can still get credit. You will have to rebuild your credit rating but it can be relatively easily done. I am not recommending it I am just telling you the realities of the situation. Many quite wealthy people file bankruptcy as a means to eliminate debt and protect assets. There is an attempt by congress to modify the current bankruptcy laws to address this issue. Whether it is bad or good depends on your individual situation. It will have a serious negative affect on your ability to obtain credit, but it can be overcome. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
