I am about to get a job designing a webpage, most likely doing all the html, dhtml, java, as well as the graphics such as buttons and banners. Now, is anyone here aware of the average hourly rate for a web designer these days? I want to get a basic idea. I know I can't charge as much because of my inexperience. I'll figure this out from other channels as well, but wanna see what you have to say. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I don't do web design or content, but I work on the underlying networking systems. My billing rates are between 165-185 per hour. If you're inexperienced, I would think you could still pull in 45-65 per hour. It may be in your best interest to make this a contract based on deliverables, not hours worked. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
