i was wondering just how bad hell week is,i saw a documentry on it last nite and it is very appealing to me,problem is i am canadian and im not sure if our navy has that,does anybody know if we have it ,id also like to hear hell week stories ------------------ "Fighting for peace is like fucking for virginity." canada, Anyone who has been through any special ops training will tell you; IT'S ALL MENTAL. Hell Week is 5 and a half days. Then it;s over. one fucking week. You can do it on your head, IF you want it badly enough. | ||

I would worry more about UDT and drown proofing. Thats the shit that scares me. Thats the game. Not f'in up under water and not blowing yourself up. The key is they want people who never quit. They are going to make it ugly as hell basically so they will know you'll be in the mix if it is bad as it can get. | ||

hell week is just that. they break you mentally to see how much you can take. over half that class quits during this week. they keep you cold, wet, and tired all week. a friend of mine went out for it but just barely didnt make it. i also have a few army ranger friends and their training is very hard also. 2 weeks in the field with only a couple of mre's (meals ready to eat) which by the way have about 3 to 4 thousand calories in each so if you can get some then do it. they are actually good in taste also. great way to gain weight!!! ------------------ | ||

Everyone I've known that has served all share one thing in common. It was a waste of their fucking time. I don't knock anyone who serves his country but this is what they have told me. They feel like it set them back 2-4 years and are now catching up with everyone else(that went to college or a trade school). All my friends who served were infantry and served in the Marines and Army, so take it as you will. | ||

so you wanna be a SeAL.
second you must have the vision req. third join the navy. but be shure to fill out a SeAL contract this will entitle you to 3 try's to get into BUD/S. you must also have a SeAL source rating to be allowed to enter BUD/S.(e-mail me for details for both) forth. come prepared. you will get your ass kicked, day one if you are not prepared. academic standards 70% or above for enlisted I am a current SWCC(BUD/S) insructor HOO YA ENSLOW | ||
