I was watching some of the news feed last night. They were interviewing some of his classmates. Apparently, he was REALLY fucked with by most of the other kids. They would burn him with hot lighters, smack him in the head, etc. You know, just standard bully shit. The kid is scrwany and didn't stick up for himself. Obviously he just snapped. While I do support the death penalty, I don't think it's right for this one. | ||

I don't really know if I think he should get the death penalty...maybe eventually kids will fucking learn to leave the little quiet ones alone, that always irritates me when I see it. And not because I was ever the scrawny kid. | ||

Yeah, they should grease him as a warning to all the other crazy fucks out there. Plus...they should have a mandatory expulsion policy against people picking on others in schools. In the old days it was harmless, now it is out of hand. There was this crazy fuck in my school that brought a gun to school in middle school cause he was picked on. He did not shoot people but he did hold them at gun point. Anyway, they let him back in our school in highschool and he was still picked on even after everyone knew how unstable he was! ------------------ | ||

I just saw on the news that he wont get the death penalty but he has so many charges against him that he'll be in jail for life. his assholes going to be the size of the grand canyon. | ||

I am all for setting an example...but I say let members of the 2 families who had someone die torture the living f*ck out of him...then let him heal, then do it again, and maybe again, then leave him for dead... The sad thing is, we all know he won't spend the rest of his life in jail...and if he did, does that really make sense?? No matter how bad prison is, he'll be getting food, recreation time, internet access, Tv time, and he'll be BREATHING! This is why I support the death penalty and one reason I'm glad we've got a Texas in the White House (and no I didn't vote for him so don't call me a crazy Republican either!!) ------------------ | ||

I believe that this kid should pay the price. However, if you were one of the bullies, wouldnt you feel guilty? I believe that he should be held responsible, however, the bullies played a part in this as well. Also, I am sick of the bastards at the school who come on TV and tell their story about how they knew he was gonna do it, but they thought he was just kidding. Those kids are partially responsible as well. How many times do we need to hear, "We never thought it would happen here" What a bunch of idiots.! | ||

When I was in junior high school, I was the one that was tortured physically and mentally by others. I had plenty of fantasies about bringing a 12 gauge to school. In many ways this kid was defending himself. I just think it's bad that kid's are made to suffer like this in school. Imagine how you would feel going to work and having people burn you with a cigarette lighter, punch you in the mouth, stuff your head in a toilet, kick you in the balls on a daily basis. I think most of us would lose it eventually. | ||

My cousin marries the same type of wife-beating control freak all the time because she is a pathetic twat who won't stand up for herself....these guys are all bullies and they all hate me cause I don't take their crap. not everyone has that kind of mental resolve to be small and still be able to come back with a snappy retort. some people will just take it, others bully themselves. its so sad that a kid had to suffer being burnt at a school and that no-one did anything about it. one of you said you were tonk at your old school and beat the crap out of the bullies. not everyone gets that kinda person at tyheir school. if they have few friends, a bad family situation and they get physically tortured at school, what makes anyone think they are not going to snap at some stage. and it will probably keep happening unless they do something about the bullies. ------------------ | ||

I differ very much from others opinions. I am very much against the death penalty-although sometimes there are such awful offences committed that make me question however the death penalty is still the only penalty that is totally irreversible. I don't believe that the death penalty is a deterrent. I question how many offenders decide NOT to kill someone because if caught they would get the death penatly. Granted I am in a country where the death penalty is not used anywhere and hasn't been for many many years. Murder committed in the heat of the moment and those who have mental health issues do not think of the consequences of their actions at the time. Damn, if this happened in Canada, not only would be death penalty not be an issue, his name would not even be released to the public. Amazing how two similar and close countries have such different criminal justice systems. Just my 2 cents. | ||

This kid snapped----We shouldnt just ignore him or kill him------We should study the little fucker and find out what makes him tick-----For all these little shits that said "he told me he was going to do it but I didnt think he would" I smell a civil suit coming from the victims parents and rightfully so---What this kid did was wrong but everyone has their breaking point---To point blame to just this kid is irresponsible and will accomplish nothing----This world is growing at a rate like never before and if you cant keep up --Our government says "To bad"---"Deal with it"---And this is what will happen-------This will cont. to happen and will only get worse----He was only a little boy---People are outraged at what he did-----They should be outraged at why he did this------Everytime their is a killing like this, people always ask why---the truth is, they know why but that is what they cant deal with! | ||

Well life in Cali is a 20-25 year minimum sentence so they can be released eventually. Why waste all the money involved in a life sentence? Just smoke the fools. | ||

I would have not arrested him. If I was a tacital shooter for the P.D. I would just blow him away and save the court room time for better cases. His act does not require a court of law, just one bullet and the right shooter, legally speaking, ie: wears a badge. Stupid kid, now he is in for the raz of his life in jail, then prison. Maybe he likes being Buttf**ked. Who cares?

I think there's a total lack of understanding and compassion for others in this world anymore. Two wrongs don't make a right. No one wants to take time to possibly help other mentally fucked up people out, it's just kill em' kill em' kill em'. Ever sit and think what it would be like to have someone else that doesn't know anything about you or what goes on in your head decide that you should die? Two wrongs don't make a right, a human life is precious wether it took another's or not, it's not trash to be tossed away. We need compassion, tolerance, understanding, love, and all that other stuff, not more killing in response to a killing. I completely disagree. In the United States, we feel a person is not emotionally mature enough to understand their actions until 18. That is why we have age restrictions on so many things. We cant vote till were 18, cant have sex till were 18(I know some states are different), cant be drafted until were 18, shit we cant even consume alcohol until were 21. Why is this? The government does not think that children can make rational decisions. Why is this any different? The CHILD was only 15 and according to our laws he cant make rational decisions. Why then prosecute him as an adult? I feel badly for the victims of this needless violence but why not try and rehabilate this kid. Never forget he has to live with his actions for the rest of his life. And for christ's sake lets stop making this shit a media frenzy. They make these killers infamous and what happens, another kid shoots up his school. | ||
