The only thing gun laws do is make it harder for innocent, law-abiding citizens to obtain them. Criminals will ALWAYS have guns, and drugs for that matter--hence the absurdity of the "War on Drugs." A "War on Guns" is just as ridiculous! The funny thing is, gun control isn't even my forte...I don't even own a gun...let's talk about Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, Welfare, etc., and then YOU'LL GET ME GOIN'! Where are you from?? Cuba, perhaps?? China?? Angel of Death Criminals can make guns...If you doubt it just run a search on any search engine and you will read how you can make one out of things can be bought and put together... besides though I haven't heard of anyone arrested have you ever made a potato gun? If you have seen one perhaps you might have placed some newpaper filled with nails and fired it before...That could easily kill someone and cause some damage...No it's not a gun but it's something that can shoot a good distance if made right with an electric starter from a BBQ grill and WD40 What about making mini bombs...does the mean we should screen people buying house hold cleaning products?? | ||

Drugs are illegal, they are smuggled in. if guns were illegal, they would be smuggled in as well. So in the end you have lots of criminals running around with guns and drugs that are illegal. Only thing that has changed is now the law abiding citizens who purchase guns legally for legal pursuiots dont have them. Here is a little example for you disillusioned. Criminals were at times law abbiding but should we give way of our personal rights because someone crosses the line? I'm a strong believer in holding people accountable for their actions. If you break the law ok fine, if you get caught then good luck in dealing with it cause depending on the severity they (govt) will come after you...I mean most of us probably speed everday when we drive, doesn't mean we are going to get caught and doesn't mean the rest of us should stop driving. Same thing with guns...Some might do bad things with them, but should we all suffer because of it? I don't see the Alcohol industry being held very accountable for all the people who are killed from drunk drivers or overdoses....because someone chooses to over do it...People still smoke in this country though they know it might kill them some day...Why should those of us who are responsible with our guns be targets because of those who use theirs incorrectly? | ||
