This is by no means a racial post. Just wondering how asomeone can move to a country live 3 plus for years and never learn that country's language.

I just don't get it. If I were to move to france or something I would have to learn the language in a year. I'd go insane. But down here in FL there are people that don't speak a lick of English. How do they do that? How do you file taxes, and fill out job applications?
