When you go to certain websites, such as a casino. When you register with them they sort of have your "finger print" so you cant register again. I know there is a way to erase that info so you may register again. My tech here at work says to reformat your harddrive. Is there another way? I try to "shift" and "refresh" but that doesnt work. Thanks for any help. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Try eliminating the cookie from the casino website. Under temporary internet files. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

When I try to delete cookies, it never does. They just stay in that folder. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Did you just register normally, or did it run a program on your computer? If it was just a normal registration, you can try going to Tools->Internet Options->General and click "Settings" in the Temporary Internet Files section. Then, click "View Files" and MANUALLY delete the cookie(s). IE doesn't automatically delete cookies when you clear the temporary folder, I believe. If it ran a program on your computer, you will have to delete any directories that were created on your hard drive by the casino website and/or check your Windows Registry (using regedit) for any casino-related keys and eliminate them. Be sure to back up your registry first. -Warik ------------------ BY THE POWER OF GRAYSKULL!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
