I didn't see anything in the paper but one of my roomates heard someone tried robbing a quickie mart....Perhaps thats why one of my roomates hasn't been home in 5 days...he's stealing from everyone else also...lol | ||

maybe never i didn't catch all of the news report but someone has rights to the name X-box problem is microsoft has spent MILLIONS marketing under this name. so it might never come out (though it probably will, just will cost microsoft even more). karma's a bitch when your on the recieving end... (x-box is a console with a 6 gig hard drive in it, its basically a PC built for gaming, and kicks PS2, or anything out soon, probably even the nintendo game cube) ------------------ | ||

I think they will come out around October. You better preorder one now if you want one. The Xbox is going to be pretty sweet, Check out www.msxbox.com and download some movies of the games. | ||

you have'nt seen anything because Sony has been threatening retailers that they either take down ads for the Xbox or they will limit the amount of ps2's that they will get. Go to Gamestop or software etc, I don't think that you can preorder them online yet. The Xbox is supposed to be 3x more powerful than the ps2, and comes with a harddrive and a broadband modem I think. Sony's about to have their ass handed to them. Im not gonna pay over 400 for a system, 300 is bad enough, and Microsoft is seriously lacking in third party producers compared toplaystation, and NIntendo has virtually none. Whoever gets Squaresoft and the most RPG's get my vote. Remember that N64 is more powerful then PS1 but it lost miserably in the console wars (gamecube will do the same, I gaurantee it) Xbox we will have to wait and see about. But if you do intend on buying one, put money down on a copy NOW, if I had gone 1 week earlier to put my money down on a PS2 I would have gotten it on the opening day, not Feb | ||

The Xbox won't be priced above $300, it won't sell at any higher and Microsoft knows this. If Sony drops their price down any(which they will to compete with microsoft) expect microsoft to match the ps2. Almost all of the good game developers have flocked the Xbox. I know what you mean about the N64, I had a playstation, sold it, bought a N64, played mabe 2 games that I thought were more "adult", and the rest of the games were made for toddlers. Just get a better computer. Screw that console garbage. I haven't played a good console game since Final Fantasy III. FF5 and FF6(3 here) are both on FF anthology for PS1, I liked FF8 the best, and 7 was better then 9. Almost all Squaresoft games are really good. Anybody played Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross? | ||

No, Its not just you, there are many many people that are dissapointed wih their ps2. I rarely play mine (except for DVDs) most of the games so far aren't worth $10 imo. Microsoft has been watching Sony drop the ball and knows what mistakes to avoid. I never could get into the FF series, too much watching the game and not enough playing. |
