i'm far from a racist. but there are two kinds of black people just like there are two kinds of white and latinos, you get the point. anyway some of my closest freinds are black. i know more black people than white people and i know a lot of whites. the girl i am with now, i am the first white guy she has ever dated and she is white. i have even dated black girl. niggers are a different story. they are different from blacks just as white trash is from me. i hate niggas and most blacks hate niggas also. i also hate fucking MARDI GRAS. the reason is because of the niggas. they do fuck everything up. they do jump whites all the time and they do rob everyone they can. there are too many fucking projects and the city is too much fucking trash. mostly niggas! everything most of you said on that post is almost true. the onlyl difference is that is worse than you think. i have robbed (in my young gangsta days) and i have been robbed. i've done just about everything that a young punk could do when i was a little younger. luckily i saw the light. mardi gras is a fucking hazard to everyone. you cant walk down bourbon without the fear of getting robbed or jumped by niggas. they go out there knowing and planning what to do and who to do it to. i have witnessed it all. the grabbing tits stuff is correct. the only thing is they usually dont push the girl down. the boyfriend will try to protect her and he will get his ass beat by 20 niggas. the bad part about it is the niggas dont even know each other most of the time. they will see a white dude getting beat and the will join in just for the hell of it. old, young, male or female, they dont care. new orleans sucks and whoever said it was trash was right. now i cant address everything everyone said but its all true. the city has gone to shit!!! the niggers are a GIANT part of it also. yall can say what you want about me or this can get locked or deleted but i'm not racist and i fuckin know it. i'm just keepin it real!!! ------------------     | ||

This is a sad post! Many of you claim not to be a racist. However you use all use the same irrational thinking to separate yourselves from the economicaly disadvataged. You lable people: niggers, white trash, spicks and so forth to justify your ignorance and distain for other races, cultures and social classes. Your own insecurities and self loathing forces you to degrade and falsely separate yourselves from your own people. You feel if you lable someone "white trash, nigger or spick" this some how puts you above them and justifies your racist views. People who disrepect and act irresponsibly do so individually. They are not directly related to any race, culture or creed. Understanding and intelligent people do not have racist thoughts or use racial epithits. Well Mr.?, how would you like to describe what people see then? I mean put it this way, let's say that there was 500 people put into this vacant town for a year to live, and let's say for example, that the only people ever to cause trouble over that period of time happened to be just the latino people for example. Lets say all the blacks, whites and whatever else never caused a bit of trouble. two things are going to happen here... 1:Everyone in the town is going to feel disgust towards the race of the troublemakers, which would be Latino's in this case, for the simple fact that a: the one visual defining quality, and audible quality, because they will most likely have an accent, is that they are Latino. Suuuure, they're human, the politically correct would say that's description enough, and describing them further through skin color or accent is being racist. Well, to that I say tough shit. It's human nature to want to be DESCRIPTIVE, hell they even teach this in school, to be descriptive and notice things in your everyday life. In this case, fine, description one would be they're human...But you need more...you need to desribe what type of human...what race? LATIN. My god I'm now a racist because I happened to notice what race these assholes were. And you know, if they were all male latino's, I'd probably have a lot of angst just towards male latinos. If they were all male latino's between 12-15, I'd have angst towards all male latino's ages 12-15. It's human fucking nature to not like things that repeatedly give you trouble, and it's human nature for your mind to take in all the qualities of something or someone that causes you grief so you can later identify it in the future. Hell, all law enforcement agencies use skin color and race to determine a person who did a crime.. Let's say you got robbed and beat by a black person, and you're so politically correct, what are you going to do, tell the cop, "Oh, it was a human!" Cop says "No shit, what color was he, be a little more decriptive will you?" You say "No that's being racist, needing to describe a man my his skin color!" Cop tells you you're a fucking idiot and leaves. Anyway, that's the first thing that will happen, that you will notice the generic qualities (skin color, accent, etc)of who is causing you repeated grief, or not even necessarily causing it to you, but you see it happen in general. The second thing that will happen, is that, like I touched upon above, you will have a lot of jerks calling you racist, for the simple fact that you are smart enough to tell that there are actually certain differences in the human race that make different sub "races", and amongst these different sub races, are certain ones that are the way they are. It's no secret that there's your blacks, and then there's your modern day definition of niggers who live on the streets and think the world owes them something, think they're the shit, gangbang, run drugs, kill for a pair of shoes, and whatever else. Why should people that notice these things be called racist? There's no secret that there's your white trash honky's or whatever you wanna call them, that mostly live in the south, chew tobacco, smell, drive beat up trucks, listen to hick music, hate black people, sleep with their guns, never bathe, etc... You can't deny that there's people out there like this, and when there happens to be a TON of people in the world acting a certain way, you end up classifying them, regardless of race or anything. Good post N-V-R- I'm glad to see someone who knows what I'm talking about. There were some posts on my thread saying that Mardi Gras was not like that and they live in New Orleans. I seriously doubt whoever said that lives in NO. And not just the chicks who showed their tits got grabbed by nigs, a lot of the girls who were just walking by got grabbed. Girls who had no intention of showing anything basically got molested by a crowd of homeboys, it was disgusting to watch cause there was nothing you could do. You wanted to jack the guy who grabbed them, but you also wanted to stay alive. One thing I do know is that I'm never going back to that dirty city, I smelled nothing but urine in the air for 3 days.

Warik, I did not lable anyone irrational. I said "irrational thinking." I was referring to the thought process which causes people to make discriminating comments about other people. Making discriminating comments about people are irratoinal and uncalled for. I don't connect criminal behavior to skin color. When I see a black, white, or hispanic person commiting a crime I only regognize the crime and the individual for their actions. Rational and intelligent people make irrational and irresponsible decisions. I'm not labeling people who make these derogatory statements, but rather pointing out the thought process by which people use to call people names. Mardi Gras isnt the only time shit happens, and most of it never makes the news. In my opinion the media is afraid to report the truth about certain people or incidences. For example, I've worked in New Orleans for about 15 years now and it's an unwritten rule to stay off Canal Street on Martin Luther King Day, if you're white. The first time I heard the warning it came from upper management where I worked at the time and I thought they were overreacting until I saw on the local news that night that several people (white people) were attacked that day. You will also never hear on national media the problems that occur during Essence Festival (a black music festival) and The Southern Classic (college football game between 2 black colleges). Several restaurants closed during the game and more than a few hotels planned to close and were pressured by the mayor to remain open. Their problems in the past included bar-b-que pits cooking in hotel rooms, guns pulled on maids, stolen furniture, heated arguments over paying the bill when checking out, fist fights in lobbys, etc. Restaurants have similar problems with people leaving en masse rather than paying the tab. I personally know several waiters that work in the quarter and call in sick during these events because they are stiffed for the tab so often they lose money if they work, so they stay home. No, it's not all blacks but these types of incidences dont occur with the same magnitude during the Sugar Bowl, Super Bowl and other events that dont specifically target blacks.

Armphi--I'm not surprised that the hotels and restaraunts would want to close, it makes sense, but as soon as they do close, its racism. Jessie Jackson would be on his horse protesting how "They don't want to serve black people", then you have a civil rights lawsuit in the process. So its a lose/lose situation for the hotels, same goes for real estate, Its an unwritten rule NOT to buy real estate in a black neighborhood. Your house will get completely destroyed, they will call you at all hours bitching about how something doesn't work (my parents made this mistake). The best residents are hispanics, they work hard to support their family, take care of the house, and pay rent on time, they also have no hatred towards you because you are white. Anyone who says this is not true, feel free to rent out to blacks in a low income area. They have this attitude that because you are white, you are racist, so why not fuck up your house to get even?? Naty - I know exactly what you mean. A buddy of mine buys property in low income areas. His tenants are mostly older people and he doesnt have trouble with them trashing his houses and most of them are on Section 8 or other assistance so he collects the rent from the government and has no trouble collecting, BUT, the first things he does after buying a house is to board up the windows and doors and remove the A\C's and takes them home. If he doesnt board it up, the doors get kicked in and the windows smashed, they steal the sinks, toilets and everything else they can carry out. It is definitely not an investment for the faint-hearted. | ||

If NEVER in your life be it in the car when someone cuts you off and yelled out some racial slur or whatever the situation might be, you're lying. The only people who are not racist are children who have yet to be taught sterotypes. I have never pointed out any difference in skin color, religion,or culture to my kids and guees what? john i have lost no right! unfortunately i made some stupid decisions. i am not a model citizen now but that was up to 10 years ago. everyone does dumb shit when they are young. and anything i've done wrong in my younger days was never directed at anyone just because they were black or in a certain place at a certain time. In school they teach everybody all about European and American history, science, literature, etc. The reason they have cultural centers, is too provide history information, etc. for other cultures. Sure, minorities are given scholarships but whites by far receive the same if not more scholarships. There's nothing wrong with white pride.
