I'm on a reduced school schedule now because I did extra work to catch myself up and now I only need to go 3 days/week. So I have today off, and my mom's like, "You're not going to be spending every thursday sitting on the computer and reading around here. You'll either work or go to school 5 days a week in THIS house!" My question is, why? I have my whole life to work, and what exactly is detrimental to me reading and surfing the internet? Why is my mom so stupid sometimes? I can't even present my case because as soon as I start to say something she just says "Shut up, don't talk back."     | ||

Makes me thankful to have my parents. I don't and have never had any responsibilities around the house and have never been bothered to do stuff that I don't want to do. As a result, I've been working for the past year making more than the average person my age, I look great, and I'm going to college on a more-than-full scholarship and probably getting my degree a year early. Then we have my friend whose mom and dad are up his ass about everything and he has 1,000,000 things that he has to do. He works a thousand hours a week for terrible pay and has bad grades. His parents tell him it's "for his own good." Who's got the good parents now??? Just make sure that you talk to your mom instead of getting all pissed (as you should).
