Hindustan - How's this for stereotypical. I don't like people like you. I used to work at AT&T and anytime I would incenuate that I could tell a black person from a white person over the phone, all the blacks would hop on their, "You're a Racist" soapbox. It's not that hard to pick up. If someone asks, if they can ax you a question, you can narrow it down pretty easily. I know we all pretend to be blind with color, but do we have to be deaf too? Let's take these ebonic speaking individuals and teach them to speak proper english. | ||

I always thought it was romantic to talk with a Southern Accent...lol..Well I'm from the south and have always lived here...I await the day to travel and live elsewhere...when traveling outside of the south Not many people have guessed I'm from Texas or the south period. On a rare occasion I might give it away by saying "yall" or talking about "Cokes" I have an uncle who's from Arkansas who speaks with no accent what so ever. I wish I could get a voice recording and place bets with random people...He told me the key to it is removing as much slang and all Noticeable slang from your vocabulary and watch the way people move their lips when they talk. Thats how he guesses where someone is from...He's traveled the world alot so I put him to the test by having friends from different Asian countries talk to him, and he was 5 for 5 on guessing...perhaps he's onto something we all should know about | ||

I don't know who came up with this and I don't care, but I've seen people typing the word my as "mah". What the frig is that? Some people type words shorter to save time, but "mah" is actually longer than using it right. Had to say that. Mey mp5, I live in a moderately sized city/town, very predominately white and I always hear young whiter than white boys, and girls, talking like they have a deep Bronx accent, do you see that a lot too? Talk about SWAYED BY THE MEDIA. |
