I was pretty shocked to see the degrading comments about NASCAR fans on this board. In fact, it reminded me why I don't post on this board anymore. Anyone who has ever been involved in racing knows that the racing community is very much one big family. If you consider people who live in the country as "rednecks", than I suggest you get out more. It's funny how people on this board get mad because people judge the weightlifting community without knowing anything about it. Yet, many of you jump at the chance to degrade a sport that it is obvious you know anything about. Well congradulations, many have you have lived up to the dumb-monkey bodybuilder stereotype. Pathetic...    | ||

If that's your theory 2thick than their is nothing wrong with reprinting Nazi propaganda or hate group web sites. Sure it's legal, but that doesn't mean you should do it. So if you stand by your words, I invite you to start putting up post about other social groups not just "rednecks". Like Jews for instance, or Catholics. Yeah, let's make fun of the JFK assasination. I hate Catholics is an opinion. (Not mine, but it is an opinion) I think your confusing hate speech with fighting words. (Which is not protected under Amendment I) Just because stupid opinions are protected by our Constitution does not make them any less stupid. Reposting offensive garbage is just as bad as writing it yourself. | ||

I am with 2thick here. He did not post that himself and he said as much, he found that at another site and did the Cut And Paste Method. Personally, I found it to be quite a hoot and absolutely hilarious. I copied it and forwarded it to as many friends as possible. If you are offended by that, so be it. I have nothing against NASCAR fans or racing at all, but you would never EVER see me associating myself with that kind of crowd. Just as you would never EVER see that kind of crowd associating itself with my choices of interest. I am sure that they would have gotten a kick and laughs out of the death of Lee Bomhoff also. (That is, if they knew who he was.) Bottom line, whether you liked it or not, it was still funny | ||

Right On BigNate, Mr. T I feel more sympathy for the sons and daughters of police officers who go in, not knowing if they are going to make it home that night. But for a dork who did NOT double check his safety equipment, so what? Yeah it is sad, but then again, as the news has pointed out, there were precautions he could have taken and still come out of that crash unscratched. So there. | ||

By the way, nice use of the word unscratched Jae. What are you playing, Scrabble? If you don't know anything about race car crashes don't pretend you do. Thats ignorance. Even when race car drivers follow all safety precautions they can still die. BTW, they can't say if his safety belt was broken before or after the crash. So there. | ||
