i always thought if you died in your dream you died in real life... so i had never died in my dreams.... UNTIL last week!!! some fuckin bus driver rear ended the car in front of us... i was walking off the bus and i said "you killed me?" he said "yes, but i am alive"... so not sure if it was my ghost talking or what, but seeing how he admitted to killing me i figured i had died. | ||

Thats freaky....thats why I don't ever use public transportation. I've never actually died in my dreams. I have had dreams I was laying in my coffin while people where morning me baut I felt I was alive just couldn't speak or move. But I always woke up before I actually died in a dream. | ||

Several time and many different ways and I have slept past my death. Woke up after wards really disoriented and scared and couldn't sleep the rest of the night. | ||

I have had several dreams of dying without waking up before "I died". It's a myth... Hit by a car, dropped out of a plane, hit by a bus, eaten by lions, eaten by bugs, Being Nuked... etc. I dream alot in color too kartchick. | ||

I have a bunch of times- I have also seen myself die through the eyes of another person. That was fucked up I couldn't fall back asleep. I also dream in color. | ||

twice...once in a plane crash, once being shot in the head, but all my dreams are scary and freaky, so dying was actually pretty tame in comparison to suffering. Sometimes I have sepia tone dreams, sometimes black and white, sometimes color. | ||

i've got a psychological book where lots of these things are described it says that if you have nightmares your mind tries to get rid of some fear, but when these nightmares get to intense and you wake up it's said that the things you've dreamed weren't enough to avoid and/or overcome the fear when i was younger i very often dreamed about falling down some stairs,.... i usually woke up before i hit the ground,... ------------------ | ||

tlhc..interesting I have alot of falling dreams.....usually when I start to fall asleep...then my body kinda jumps and I wake up...I rememeber once...in high school I feel asleep in Chemistry class...i had that falling feeling, and i jump and knocked all the books and stuff off my desk. Needless to say everone looked at me, and my teacher gave me a nice extra research paper to do on volcanoes or something | ||

yeah, that happens to me about once a week or so....sometimes I jerk so much I literally jump off the bed...scared the poo out of the BF couple of times. | ||

I have dreams that I am flying----like superman----I know it means something but cant remember what it is----I think I read somewhere that if you dream that you can fly---and these dreams keep coming up, then you are probably a person that is more of a dreamer and not a doer( that sounds like me) |
