lets include the commute and gettign ready for work too too...mine: 59 hours (54 hours of work and commute, 5 hours to get ready 6 days a week)SUNDAY IS A DAY OF REST

6 days @ 24 hours= 144
work -59
sleep (8x7) -56
school -3
leaves 26 hours divide by 6
gives 4.3 hours a day
minus approx. 2 hours for lifting and cardio...leaves aprroximatley 2.3 hours a day

2.3 freakin hours a day and sunday for eating, relaxing, studing, and drunken bar room brawls...THAT JUST AIN"T ENOUGH!!!....

"How can one respond to such unabashed adulation? While I certainly appreciate it, it does seem quite undeserved. Obviously Ranger has, through his sheer eloquence and bravado, created an impression of me that cannot be lived up to. In the face of such, I must withdraw. Peace" ---MACRPPHAGE69ALPHA

The details of my life are quite inconsequential....Vey well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly selfimproving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts for being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring wed make meat helmets. When I was insolent, I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds, pretty standard really. At the age of twelve I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Wilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum...its breathtaking. I suggest you try it.

Shags,

My work schedule is nice now, but I'm drawing up plans to start a business....so I am looking at 100 hour work weeks.

I have no formal business education. We'll see......

If you throw all that in, probably close to 65.

Doesn't leave much time at all for other things.

Well Darl'in, I guess it fully depends on what you do for a living, and how well you like it...That is afterall what counts most...

Of course if I was to sit across from you each day for 8 hours plus....it couldn't be all bad now could it...???

Heh heh heh

45.5 hours per week including coummute, which is 25 minutes.

Compare:
Week of 7 days
Total Hours : 168.0
Work Hours : 45.5
Gym Time : 7.5
Sleep : 42.0
Time to FO. : 73.0

That gives me around 10.43 hours a day to do basically nothing. AHHHHHH Life is good.

How damn long you takin to get ready! 10 Minutes MAX!!! Even with the occasional suite and tie.

Wodin...aproximately 1hour...shower, dry my hair takes like 20 minutes, let the doggie out, drink some water, get dressed, gather all my shit, ....all to sit behind an asshole who can't drive for 30 minutes

I think I want to be a farmer...no commute...no prep time...get to drive a tractor and draw alien messages in teh corn fields...then life would be good

Shags,

It's a ton of hours...and 100 a week is realistic. Right now I am throwing together a presentation to investors...it takes up ridiculous amounts of time....so *IF* we can get funding, then those 100 hour weeks may be worth it.

Big if. But I'm on to something here.

matty....get used to it darlin...cause once the buisness starts up you'll be putting in far more hours than that if your the owner. Thats why I don't think I'd ever start my own company....way too much time, it becomes their whole life. I'm not at the point where I'm willing to sacrifice that much for money yet.

Bruzer...you a newbie...or an oldbie with a newbie name?

I'm 25. I've been around the block a little....travelled to 40 states, worked some ODD jobs....Now is the time.

I don't have all the answers but I know I can't work with or for most of the bosses out there.

But yeah I do foresee long days and nights for teh next 5 years.....
