No sir. I believe there are less than 10 people in the world who can bench 3 times their weight. A triple body weight squat or deadlift is also incredibly awesome. Picture a 200 lb guy squatting 600lbs with good form...

My buddy Kyle is 205 and squats about 630 with ease. He benches 340 for 5 reps. He's the most coordinated mofo I've ever met, too. It's badass to watch him fight, too.

i don't think i even do twice my weight in anything. i could probably DL 360lbs but never have tried as i prefer my arms IN their sockets. three times my weight is insane.

I'm close on the squatt. I weigh 245 and can parallel squat 650 on a good day. I benched 495 3 weeks ago. And yes, I just came off a nice cycle...

i definitely can not bench 3 times my weight or squat. i was going for it but i know my shoulders are going to give out on me before it happens and as for the squat, maybe one day, but i do have a bad lower back. other than that, full steam ahead.

i would like to see somebody do it though, i have been looking around for people and i can't find anybody.

I've deadlifted over 2.5x bodyweight, but not 3. Benching about 1.5x, squatting, a little over 2x.

I'm 209, +/- 13 percent bf, 6' tall.

Most of the Olympic lifters I know can squat and deadlift more than 3x their bodyweight. It is quite common in Olympic weightlifting.

For example, "Pocket Hercules" from Turkey clean and jerked (which is usually way below their max back squat) about 420lb at a body weight of about 142lb! That is just a front squat at 3x his body weight.

I've done 3 times bw in the DL. That is because I have good leverage in the lift, not that I'm strong. A 3 times bw legal depth squat seems more impressive.

I heard of Pocket Hercules and I also heard he is originally from Bulgaria. I saw his name in the Guiness Book of World Records. His nickname definitely suits him.

THE PASSED. at 198 I squated 661lbs(over 3times my weight) and bench 423lbs in a USPF meet.

Now at 270 I don't think I will ever bench 810lbs. I may some day squat 810.

Benching 3 times your weight is uncommon - almost unheard of. Maybe a fe people have benched 600 lbs at 200 but I doubt it is common.

When I weighed 265 I could squat right around low 700s. Still a bit short. Now I've lost weight but I train differently.

Burnboy, I'm guessing that was in Texas??
Fuckin texas has some freaks in powerlifting.I won colorado, but I wouldn't of even placed in the top 5 in Texas.

from the arnold 1999 classic some guy named marcus schick benched 540lbs weighing in at 155lbs. that's almost 3.5 times his weight.

i can squat 2.5 times my bodyweight, and leg press almost 2.8 times my bodyweight.
however i can only bench about 1.25 of my bodyweight, and 2.25 times my bodyweight.
i phucking suck

I squatted my max ever of 607lb at 210lb so I almost did triple. Couldn't do it now though, I was younger then. Never been strong on bench though, I'd be lucky to get double.
