Kat, have you been to the bar ur playing at on fri. at all? There is a bar at that intersection that has metal and steel all over the outside of it, if it had flames, it'd look like the gateway to hell, anywho, I'm wondering if thats the bar...... How much is the cover charge to get in, anyhow? | ||

queen west...such a beautiful place. so much in fact , my little brother was taking a quiet evening stroll last weekend with his girlfriend and was jumped and pepper sprayed in front of a lovely landmark building called the 'black bull'. | ||

Oh yeah, we've played there a bunch of times...flames...don't recal flames, but the whole damn building is purple. Looks like a giant Barney turd. Its on the southeast corner of Queen and Bathurst. When you turn off Spadina onto Queen W (left off Spadina if youre coming from the Gardiner) and you'll see a parkinglot about a block down on your left (thats where we park) and the Kathedral is a hop skip jump away. look on toronto.com and look up the Kathedral; it waill show you a pic and a map. goleafs.....I fucking HATE Toronto. Ive had my car towed a couple times, people are rude, its just awful. I used to love it down there until I had to do all the driving and now I detest it....dirty and smelly and gross. | ||

True, true Moderator, but I live in a small town about 30 minutes North of Toronto, and beleive me...THATS clean. ...and I don't get my friggin car towed every two minutes..they give me a ticket which I gladly pay....actually, I used to love the city, Ive just had a lot of bad experiences there in the last year. Plus, the only time Im there anymore is to work (play gigs), so its not always very fun. And youre right.....Buffalo is a HOLe compared to Toronto. | ||

Theres actually two doors and they're both on Queen..the door on the left is the one to the Reverb (no) and the one on the right is for the Kathedral (yes)..there is a cover charge, but NO idea what it is...less than 10 bucks for sure though. I hope...jeez, we're not worth more than that...since were just the opening fillers, we get told nothing. LOL...we just show up and play. | ||

we go on at 10:00 (could be 10:15, but he said be prepared for 10pm) its one 45 mintue set...and I found out last night we have to bring ALL our gear so I have to lug the gaddman friggin drumset down the fucking street for an opening 45 mintues set. PISS ME OFF! The opening band NEVER has to bring their gear...its like an unwritten law....its like compensation for getting paid shit and only getting a short set. PLUS I found out its supposed to snow...I fucking HATE driving in snow, and I ve NEVER driven on 427/Gardiner in the snow....I will be a fucking mess by the time I get there....Im already freaking out... ARRRGH! | ||

well, where ya'll parking at? I could help lug equipment to the bar.......besides that, make the guys do it, you should supervise..then again, if ya want something done right, ya gotta do it urself.... anyhow, I'd love to help....I planned on being there early anyhow.... | ||

No, no, I wouldn never make an invited guest help..thats like sacrilidge! I just got off the phone with the guitar player and there will be folks to help....I'm just complaining cause Im in a bad mood  |
