A few months back, there was a thread here that had some totally bogus info regarding how to beat the "lie-detector." Putting "icy hot on your nuts" is most certainly not an effective way to defeat the polygraph. While the "tack in the shoe" can be effective, it can also be detected by a polygrapher who simply asks you to remove your shoes. Fortunately, painless, effective methods to beat the polygraph exist.

I suggest that anyone interested check out http://www.antipolygraph.org . This non-profit site contains all the info you need on how to defeat the test. Better yet, everything on the site is totally free. Be sure to read "The Lie Behind the Lie Detector," which exposes the trickery behind the test and exactly how to defeat it.

The individuals on the old thread who wrote that they had nothing to worry about because they had never experimented with AS were sorely mistaken. Polygraphs are extremely inaccurate and falsely accuse many truthful people. Furthermore, extremely honest "straight-arrow" type people are the ones most likely to fail. I'd hate to see anyone who legitimately trained hard for a contest get wrongly disqualified because some lie-detector examiner with 8 weeks of training and no formal education said he was lying. Even people who plan to tell the truth should consider employing polygraph countermeasures to guard against the all-too-common "false positive."

This information will prove helpful for those entering "natural" bodybuilding contests as well as individuals applying for government jobs (police, etc) where polygraph screening is used.

You are correct sir.

Generally, practicing or rehearsing your responses to senstitive topics will help too.

Lie detectors are way wrong.

Lie dectors aren't that hard to beat if you propoerly prepare for them. That's why they aren't admissable in court. Conversely if you fail then usually you lying. There was this Jenny Jones were it was so obvious this guys sleep with women other then his girlfriend yet he past the test. It was pretty funny.
