the best thing would be not to drink at all, but I personally don't see anything wrong with a drink or two...Just don't make it something you do very often...Sure water should help with countering the dehydration effects, but i can't prove that

I get drunk maybe twice a week. Usually once a week, and never zero times in a week.
The best advice is to not drink at all. Drinking water will not counter beer.
I usually watch what I eat and days I drink. You have to remember that while beer is fat free even say Miller Lite is 120 calories per 12oz.

I drink too much. I get "drunk" 1-3 times per week. it will affect your preformance in the gym, and make it much more difficult to get a good nights rest. You will not shrink or get weaker if you drink weekly, but it is also my opinion that you definetly will not get stronger while you drink. if you are truly not getting drunk, don't worry about the negative effects I don't think that will hold you back.

All i have to say on this is that the demons of booze have the power to strip you of all you have worked so hard to achieve.

I have not touched a drop of alcohol for over 4 years and I DO NOT miss it at all.

Beside, I'd rather have a scoop of ice cream than waste my calories on a beer.

But that's just me- woo hoo!

I hardly ever drink. I feel like shit and can't work out the next day. Occasionally, maybe once every 2 or 3 months I'll go out and get a bit buzzed. I don't think it would be a good idea to do it every day.
