How many of you guys download from Napster?? It seems like I'm on it all day. How long does it take for the average song? It seems that I'm on for like 15 mins. for 1 song!! J    | ||

i hit napster up at night. i take about 6 min for each song (gotta love dsl) i have probably close to 70 songs now, i put a bunch on a disk too so im not sure how much napster has benefitted me peace ------------------  | ||

i use the shit outa it...i have a cable modem but in my preferences i download from a T3 connection (whatever that is) and it takes less then a minute per song... | ||

6 minutes for DSL seems like a long time. It takes me between 15 minutes and hour on my 56 modem. | ||

I use servers off Napigator now...Napster servers are just to jammed and slow now a year ago I would download 10 songs in 15 min... | ||

With my old t1 i'd get a song maybe in 15 seconds, now on cable i run 1-2 mins per son | ||

a few minutes per song (cable) and i have over 28 gigs worth of good stuff. talk about obsessive. i d/l about 80% of it when i had a 21.6k/s modem too. beat that with a stick! ------------------ | ||

Funny you ask that. I have a 56k modem, it takes forrrreeeevvvverrrr to download. I have to move closer into town to get DSL. I just got a notice on my screen that my c: drive is just about out of space. I had to delete a bunch of reports and that didn't really help. I am a dumbass when it comes to my computer anyways. I think NaBster is taking up a lot of space, so I am purchasing a burner and making CD's then deleting all this stuff... ------------------ |
