The Fight Song UK tracks have been releases and are availalbe on Napster. Previously unreleased tracks: The Fight Song Slipknot Remix Slipknot might be touring with Manson MTV: There are also rumors that you're going on tour with Marilyn Manson. MTV: How do you feel about being in the same category as Marilyn Manson? Crahan: We're not here to talk crap, because if you're living this life it's an uphill battle every day. So if you're still out there, and you're being god of your creation, then we respect you. So we're not here to dog on other bands, but I will say you can put all of them on stage together and let them do whatever they want, and then put the Knot on. Then you'll have your answer. But the band still respects everybody. If you're making art, what's not to respect? MTV: You did a remix of Manson's "The Fight Song." How did that come about? Jordison: Something got brought up and I took it in, and I improved it 100 percent. That was it. Done deal. MTV: What does it sound like? Sid Wilson: Music! Jordison: Death metal meets Manson, I guess. [laughs] He likes it. And I thank him for the opportunity. He's a great guy, and I appreciate it. MTV: Do you think there are similarities between what he's doing and what you guys are doing? Jordison: The only comparison I could see is that he doesn't necessarily subscribe to any sort of norm, and he does do his own thing. We both don't subscribe to commercialism, to selling out. The guy does his own thing, and you gotta respect him for that. He's got a lot of integrity that way. He's a very smart businessman, too.    | ||

I am down with manson and slipknot. Dont really like manson but he has some good music. Really like antichrist superstar, use to get stoned to that cd alot. But most hardcore manson fans annoy the hell out of me. | ||

ACS was Manson's best album, no question. I used to rip on him and the freaks back in high school, then I heard suck for your solution off the private parts soundtrack, and have been hooked since then. I felt kind of out of place when I saw him in concert, but the people were pretty cool, and it turned out to be the best concert I ever went too. The front man from Knot did come off as cocky, but I probably would too if I was in a kickass band. | ||

mr roper and mr furly thought jacktripper was gay.  j/kslipknot has some good hard music. i like manson as well, but i dont follow either of them. just a fan from afar. hehe. if you get too close to manson, you become catabolic...and we cant have that. LOL ------------------ | ||
