I have been around for a long time but never felt the urge to post until very recently. I know that this has probably been beaten to death before, but I disagree with giving people a "status" on this board. There are 18 year old kids with "guru" and 5 stars under their name who are on week 3 of their first cycle. Their knowledge of AS or nutrition is rudimentry at best in the majority of cases. But their word is taken over mine, even though I have been around this scene for over 12 years. It's because I have "cool novice" under my name. I don't want anything under my name. I will probably e-mail EF Chris and ask him to delete my status if at all possible. I know some people are very sensitive about this issue so this is not to step on any toes. But the fact remains that false rank with respect to experience on a discussion board like this only leads to predetermined notions and prejudice.

i dont think anyone looks at it like a ranking system, its not like the army where us lower numbers cant say anything out of line to the higher ranked sarge....i think respect is given to those that are recognised by their informative, documented, accurate information not there number of posts....

You may not look at it that way, but I guarantee you that the average passing newbie to this board does.

Your sort of stereotyping the newbies aren't you? I agree the majority of them(newbies) are quite ridiculous but not all. ------------------
