Is it true or not? I for one believe that evolution takes place and is taking place. What is evolution? 2. The theory that groups of organisms, as species, may change with passage of time so that descendants differ morphologically and physiologically from their ancestors.
Now humans, is it so hard to believe that we started as single celled proteins, that combined to form the first "living" organism? And from there the continual adaptation to the changing environment lead to more complex lifeforms until eventually we the living group of organisms that we know today. Is it that "bible" thumpers are not comfortable with the idea of being related to the chimp family? Granted they pick their noses and eat the head lice off of their young, but still what really separates us from them? And also, did your god give you the recipe for the creation of man? Nope, he just said out of the dust is man and from man I steal a rib and make woman. Out of the dust. Could that mean that when the earth formed and the cells were floating around endlessy not combining that he nudged them together knowing what the result would be? And how would you explain that to a man that had the equivalent of a kindergarten education so that he could understand? Maybe creation just means I proded life along this way and that till I got what I wanted. Look at star trek for example: When Q showed picard the instant life began or should I say when it didn't, because he made the to proteins miss each other. Or 2001 a space odyssey, again, an advanced race tampers with life on earth. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Science only proves my faith and beliefs. If you don't believe in evolution your a stubborn and brainwashed moron. Evolution is so true. Amino Acids sparked by lightening to jellyfish type creatures, to coral reefs, to fish, to land we go, to where we are now. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I always thought that evolution was established as fact by the fossil record, it's natural selection which is the theory to be argued about. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

evolution, we as humans are sure as hell tak'n our sweat fuk'n time. just look at us, racism, fuk'n up the environment, etc, etc, we all know the list, and its a long one my friends. why is it that every other creature in this world can adapt to its surroundings but we cant, evolution? instead we fuk it up to meet our needs, and in the process, we're killing our selves. In the long run, we are our own demise, domed from the start. [This message has been edited by Gilbyag (edited February 21, 2001).] ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

quote: I agree totally. I trust animals better then people. People will just backstab you and pretend to be your friend to your face. I'm glad I won't be around when the next stage of man is around. Some people wonder why there's so much killing in the world, that's just human nature to destroy.

True....however their is one part that always intrigued me...why did we evolve in water...then go to land...than back to water? case in point marine mammals...still have reminent hip bones with lower limb bones ...the diverance lines of evolution to land and water...due to food competition? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I do believe we were aquatic animals at one time .. lack of hair is one good result of that stage. Just face it we like fish and shrimp, and who doesn't like the beach? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

There is biological evolution and social evolution. As for killing ourselves off, remember it comes down to strongest survive. Not that all should survive on a moral standpoint. But evolution does not have to be by completely random natural processes. It can as easily be from us manipulating this gene and that and so on... ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
