I just got done watching the thrilla in minilla again on espn and erevytime I see that fight I am on my feet. Tyson was good but totally a asshole. It is really sad to see Ali now he is in real bad shape,Forman is still a BMF. Forman kicks ass to.     | ||

Ali forever, he brought the sport up to a new level. I have an autographed framed picture of him in my office for inspiration. Ali was great for his time and he even propelled boxing because of his antics, but by todays standards he'd get his butt whipped by average fighters I would say Has anyone ever seen his Olympic gold medal fight? A buddy of mine growing up his dad had a copy of it since he was a big boxing fan, and To me it looked like the Polish dude beat him pretty good... | ||

Ali was great but he was great for reasons other than being a fighter, for one he a champion of the people because of his stand on the vietman war and his refusal to abide by the standards white middle america had placed on the black america, secondly he believed strongly in his convictions that he was willing to lose his boxing career for it, and secondly he was probably the biggest self promoter in the history of sports bar none and to top it off he was a damm good boxer, but to say he was the greatest boxing champion off all time I would give that record to a couple of other prior to ali's reign (1) sugar ray robinson (2) henry armstrong and (3) joe louis, now joe louis probably wouldn't have beaten ali but his record during his reign as heavyweight chanpion is still a record plus he fought in his era and honestly that's how we should judge our champions of the past. | ||

i lost alot of respect for ali after watching "ali fraiser 1". he shouldnt have been calling fraiser a uncle tom nigger or a nigger at all.. a real champion of the people? yeah right.. anyway, bruce lee was the greatest champion of all time. ------------------ | ||

Well Ali beat George Forman when forman was 25 and forman won the the title at age 42 or something so about him not being able to take todays fighters I think that is wrong. Aslo dont think Ali ever took roids and I am sure tyson did. Tyson is a real dick head. | ||

This is a pointless arguement. How can you prove who is the best? It's all a matter of opinion. It's like saying the Ravens are the best defense in the NFL. It can't be proven. | ||

i dont know but i was watching that on espn also and ali just looks so tiny i know he was awesome, but its just like when you see recent drawings, paintings, video games that make him look much bigger, but really its just athletes now are just so much better then what they use to be |
