Global Positioning Systems. I'm gonna start making deliveries for work and think its a good investment to get a GPS since I'm not to familiar w/ the areas I make deliveries to. I'm not sure which one is the best and heard you can hook one up to a palm pilot. Anyone know anything bout them? ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I love gps - I have a pretty cool textbook on them here that explains how it all works in great detail... love it. I have a handspring and looked into getting the plugin for it that has gps, but then after looking around, there are much better and cheaper ones that are standalones. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]()

I'll probably be using it primarily in my car, but since I drive around in a bad neighborhood I would want it to detach at least. I was looking into the Garmin Street Pilot. Do you like the color or b&w ones better? Or is that just on preference? ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Everyone I know that owns a Garmin LOVE them. I haven't looked at them in about a year - but last I looked the color wasn't that good, but cost a lot more. obviously if you want color though, go for it if you are willing to pay for it. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() |
