Wanna give me 2 cents? My sister's ex of 2 plus years, whom she broke up with about 6 months ago, convinced her to have lunch with him, and he proposed. He's in his mid 40s never been married and never wanted to. My sis is 29, never been married but wants to be. She said no, but agreed to see him again. So you think he's just throwing out the bait to get her back, are can a bachelor change his spots?.... ------------------ The details of my life are quite inconsequential....Vey well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly selfimproving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts for being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring wed make meat helmets. When I was insolent, I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds, pretty standard really. At the age of twelve I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Wilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum...its breathtaking. I suggest you try it.

He may have just now decided that she is the only one he has ever envisioned himself marrying and this is the only we can think of getting her back. How did it end last time? Who decided to end things? Does he have money?

He must be getting fugly and can't score the youngins anymore. She should wait for a nice divorcee who can really fuck up her life. I'd prefer she go with a guy from a trailer park so we can see her on a future episode of Springer!!! ------------------

Cliffs nOtes: Ended: She was moving in to his house....he dicided that he didn't like that (of course after she gave rent notice)...she got pissed off and left him TOday: She is dating this other divorced guy in his 30's, that she likes, and seems to have more in commom with Bachelor: I never met him, he a huge Huskie fan and must go to ever game...so she spend days sitting in the freakin rain with him a games....she doesn't like football. He's in sales, like 45 years old, pretty big guy but has a gut, has an obsession with history My Sis: while with him, she did all cooking, gardening at his place, decorating, and cleaning. She is a nice, intelligent, good looking gal.

Sounds like he was afraid of commitment then, but has since changed his tune. Who does she see herself being happier with?

For God Sake, She is in Washington state, she is bound to be able to find a decent buck toothed red neck guy to hang with. Don't they have loggers there? Tell he to get a logger! She should run like hell from Mr. Husky football fan. ------------------

Happier with...I don't know...I just want to be an aunt.....and the older guy never wanted kids before, and my sister never really wanted kids.....the younger guy she is dating really wants kids and that made my sister think about having them..... So I hope the old historian losses, and the young divorcee wins

I was on the side of the bachelor guy.....until you gave specific details Shags. The bachelor sounds like a jack-ass who didn't realize how good his maid was until she left him! I'm casting my vote for the divorced guy. ------------------

dum dum da dum......well they are engaged...going to pick a ring....my sister says she will take it slow.... I hope he's not bluffing...seems to be offering her the world all of a soudden, a bit unrealistic, kinda like a guy who had a loney break down, and when he's over what will be? WHo knows... So who lives in Seattle and wants to go to a wedding with me?

Damn, and chesty just moved to AZ. Go figure!!! Nothing personal, but I'd rather go out with Thick Dog and watch him anally sodomize wild boars than go to a wedding. You think I joke... I got two words for you... Chicken Dance! ------------------
