Anyone know if this is possible or are they not compatible?

I think you can run an RCA cord from your line-out or speaker jack on the sound card to an open input on your reciever. This all depends on your equipment.

Its very possible, run it all through a receiver if you want. One of my friends has his toggled between stereo and his pc, my goodness it sounds incredible on games. I would do it if i had the same speaker setup he did.

Very easy to do, just run a rca cable to the back of your reciver from the headphone jack on you comp. You have to get a y adapter, or they make one piece cables that work for it.
Rules listening to mp3s through a bumpin house stereo.
