Just went and hammered my back at Powerhouse today. My friend had a free pass and I'm probably gonna start training there with him. I talked to the guy working the counter and I believe he said the going rates are: $350 for 15 months It's been a while since I lifted at a gym but their rates seem skyhigh to me. I'm curious as to the rates you guys pay and if these seem like a fair deal. Any tips on jewing the guy down on the price? Oh yeah, I discovered the joys of a t-bar today. That's one kickass piece of equipment.    | ||

Those rates (and almost every gym rates) are very very negotiable. The equipment is paid for whether your there or not, they will likely take anything (as long as its not insulting) if they know you wont pay more. I go to powerhouse in the Bronx and pay $50 a month...They had a really good deal, but i missed it... | ||

Those fees are insane. I belong to powerhouse and pay 19 a month. Cheaper if I pay the whole year in advance. Im in LA and thought we were the highest. | ||

Gotta love NY on this one. I pay $399/yr, however my powerhouse is brand new, so I can deal. No rules, anything goes, and LOUD music  ------------------ |
