feiger was dr. deaths lawyer... anyway, a guy was shoplifting at kroger and got beat down and choked by security... thats teh short short version... the guys family is suing for 750 MILLIONS fucking dollars!!! they watch way too much austin powers!!! why is it when a wrongful death suit is filed like this, its usually by a family who has had a member doing something ILLEGAL!! he was shoplifting... in the struggle he was choked to death... security took it too far, yes.. .but they had to defend themselves first and formost... i dont know what happened, i just know he was choked... but 750 million??? i honestly think the family that is suing is HAPPY for the events that took place... its sick that it happened, but its even sicker that the family is happy about it...     | ||

I think it is great they are suing....Heck why not ask for a 1 billion or even 1 trillion dollars...If I was the judge and considering I don't know the facts of the cause my biased opinion and response.... A nice smile, a shake of the head, No money awarded to you, and pay all the court costs for wasting our time and the time of those that pay the taxes to allow them to be there in the first place | ||

MB, Unless kroger's security guards are off duty cops (highly doubtful, knowing that store), then their rights in that situation are extremely limited. Things vary state to state, but as a general rule, store security can't even detain people, much less choke them. 750 million is just a made up number, a scare tactic. Likely result is an out of court settlement in the 7-digit range.

Isn't Kroger a food store? What was the guy stealing, caviar? Security guards jobs are to say "hey you, get over here and stay here for the police to come"- it's your choice to stay or not | ||

I'd be suing for wrongful death if it had been a member of my family that died. I'm not defending shoplifters, but those security guards had no right to do what they did. | ||

well, teh thing is... i think the family is HAPPY the guy died.. they never would have had a great living without this happening... but, i do not know exactly what happened... i believe the dead guy ATTACKED security | ||

I caught the end of the story on the news yesterday. From what I heard they had the guy restrained and one guy sat on him and choked him. The guy probably was a scumbag but taking a life over something that petty, I don't agree with. I'm sure his family will get a nice settlement and Fieger gets his face all over the news again. | ||

the guy was also all scrwed up on cocaine at the time to and i guess that krogers hired these guards through a contracting or staffing company which feiger is also gonna be goin after them also | ||

big geoffrey fieger is also representing a man in a civil case that was pistol wipped by eminem. heard that courtesy of the wrif at work today. fieger vs. eminem mathers is already in hot water with michigan courts but i hope they fry that little punk. thats hilarious that he might be goin on the awards show and doing a live appearance with elton john on tv. id laugh my ass off | ||

I guess the security at Kroger stoped the guy just outside the doors and asked him to drop it and he could walk away. He had a steak or something? He choose to stay and engage in a physical aletrcattion. His death was directly related to his actions!I am sure his choice was not to die. however, if you choose to fight,although unlikely, Death can result. Side note--Feiger is a Huge Attention Whore! | ||

i've met feiger, dr. death, and feigers wife, keenie... OH MAN!!! for a 50 year old lady i would nut all over her forhead!!! nice fake rack too  anyway... feiger will take ANY FUCKING CASE that will get his egotistical ass on tv. i want to pistol whip mr. mathers soon!!! |
