Use Napigator. It finds OpenNap servers and uses the Napster shell program. Its faster too. www.napigator.com | ||

buying cds. hee hee. just kidding. do a search within here - people have been talking about this like crazy. offhand I know of gnutella. napigator won't work b/c it is an interface into the napster servers - if napster is down, it is their servers that are down, so anything trying to connect to them will not work. ------------------ | ||

Happy you are totally wrong about Napigator. It just uses the Napster shell program as an interface. You can use tons of other programs like Rapigator, MyNap, etc instead of the Napster shell. My buddy got banned by those no talent fucks Metallica and I set up Napigator on his computer and he was back up. I've talked to the programmers at Napigator and they assure me that it will work. I am actually Beta testing the new version of Napigator getting ready to be released. Its fucking quick. | ||

Yeah, you can see which servers are independant and which are Napster servers in the server list. You can set up your own server by downloading the OpenNap server program at www.download.com The more people that use Napigator the more selection there will be to download. | ||

Rotten is correct as usual, correct me if I'm wrong but it looks as thought with the use of napigator we will be able to use the napster format even after napster is gone. do you agree rotten? ------------------ | ||

Yep, they were one of the greats at one time, but they should have retired. Newstead couldn't even put up with Lars's shit anymore. After the "Black Album" they went downhill. |
