When I was in high school, some of my races were near a zoo and as we were running by the llama cages they'd spit at us. Then on some of my college runs it'd go by a farm where they raised ostriches and llamas - it smelled awful. And my dad had a llama spit in his face once. that was pretty nasty. he is a pretty calm person and likes animals, but he really wanted to kill that thing. ------------------ | ||

and for the record - their spit isn't so much spit as it is puke. they bring up the shit from one of their stomachs and the stomach acid and stuff with it and then spit that at you. nasty, nasty stuff. don't get me wrong, I'm not arguing llama loving - I'm just saying not to get spit on in the process. ------------------ | ||
