"the boy", while well intentioned, could easily be considered a mild put down. I might get miffed if my <insert your politically correct term here> called me that often. I have no problem with "hubby" or "the wife" | ||

Well, his official nickname everyone calls him is "drummer boy"...so boy is just short for that....plus, hes 23 and looks 18. He has now accepted the value of looking young, so it doesnt bother him. | ||
