Well, my girlfriend basically broke up with me last night after I asked her what was wrong the past 3 weeks. She said that she is really confused right now and has a lot of things going on and she did'nt think it was fair to me. To top it all off, I hurt my back deadlifting too. I guess I will continue to see her some and hopefully she will get her head on straight soon and it will only be temporary. At least I won't have to buy her a Velentine's day gift...    | ||

SHIT DUDE... that sucks! Thank God nothing that terrible has ever happened to me. I hope your back heals quickly! (Hopefully, you can tell by my failure to even mention your ex-girlfriend that you shouldn't worry about it.) After a billion rejections, I've learned not to worry so much about women. So she dumped you... were you living together? Engaged? Married? Kids? No, right? Then go find someone better. Every time someone tells me a story about how his girl was "really confused right now" and "has a lot of things going on" and "didn't think it was fair" I get so pissed on his behalf. He's usually too blinded by love or caring for her or whatever to see that it's all bullshit. Confused about what? Jeez... the only thing that confuses me is stuff that actually requires thought. This one is a no-brainer. Either she likes you or she doesn't, what is so confusing? She "almost-likes" you now? Don't worry about it, dude, you'll be fine. Thick -- sorry to hear that bro. It seems like I go through a lot of drama in my relationship too. Just remember, it's not a reflection on you -- it's a reflection on her. It's not your fault, and there's nothing you can do to change how she thinks -- she needs to figure it out for herself, and she may never do that. TD - sorry to hear about that..I know you give a shit about this girl. It especially sucks when it's right around V-Day. Give her space and let her figure her shit out but be there for her if she needs you. If she wants you she'll come back. I personally think that relationships basically never work out the second time around and you only end up torturing yourself in the end when you try to give it a whirl after a breakup. There were inherent problems to begin with that caused the breakup and they don't magically disappear because two people miss each other. I think you should find someone else who can make you happier. ------------------ | ||

It's not that she totally broke up with me, she said she needed some time to figure things out, so I guess I will just go about my business, and if she wants to see me, I'll be there. I 'm really regretting pushing her away a few months ago when I wanted to slow things down. I think she is still scared about that... | ||
