I played basketball today at lunch, and when I jumped in the shower afterward, I noticed my skin looked TORN!!! I have a few stretch marks from my chest to biceps, but now there is like an 8 inch gash and the top part is like deep purple and is over an allready existing stretch mark....it could just be a deep scratch though. Should i go to the doctor and get it checked out?     | ||

sounds like you stretched your stretch marks and now they're ripped..Id get it looked at...suture scars are much cooler than stretch mark scars  | ||

come on big buck sweating the small stuff just put some vitimin e cream on it and it will be fine. what could the doctor do anyway but charge you money you could spend on roids? | ||

cool! does it hurt, take a pic... seriously a "gash", that mean an open wound to me. is it bleeding? can you pull it open with your fingers? does it hurt? If none of the above you probably just broke a blood vessel, in that case there isnt anything you can do. | ||

How deep is it? Could not hurt to go see a doc, but I hate spending money on those guys. Maybe a butterfly band-aide and some neosporin. ------------------ | ||

Stretch marks do not go away. But you should get it looked at since it is free anyway for you. Don't need it tearing in the field or bleeding on your Charlies when the C.O. passes by. I got em in the same spot, it happens when you grow too quickly. Oh well, hang in there, at least the Corps cares! ------------------ | ||
